    摘要: An imaging device has a pixel array that includes one or more depth pixels. The imaging device also includes a controller that can cause one or more of the depth pixels to image a depth of an object in a ranging mode. The controller can further cause the depth pixel(s) to image in one or more detection modes, with the appropriate control signals. The imaging device also includes a monitoring circuit that can detect a current drawn by the depth pixel(s) in the detection modes. A revert indication can be generated from the detected current. Depending on the control signals, the revert indication can serve as a proximity indication, or as a motion indication.

A first light signal is clocked by a first clock controller, input into a light system and reflected back to a receiver photodiode, which determines a reception signal as a result of the first light signal. A further light signal clocked by a further clock controller inputs the photodiode at an angle to the first light signal and is mixed at the photodiode with the first light signal to form a common reception signal, which is filtered with a filter whose frequency response corresponds to the frequency of the clock difference to form a filter signal, the first and further clock signals are also mixed in a mixer to form a mixed signal and the phase shift between the mixed signal and the filter signal is used to determine the transit time of light.

    摘要: A system for calibrating a color sensing pixel based upon the distance between the color sensing pixel and an object. The distance is determined by measuring the phase shift of electromagnetic radiation as reflected from the surface of the object compared with the wave profile of the electromagnetic radiation incident on the object surface. The color sensing pixel is associated with a Time-of-Flight (ToF) pixel which is employed to determine the distance of the color sensing pixel. The electromagnetic radiation can be from any part of the electromagnetic spectrum, in particular the infrared and visible light portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The color sensing pixel and the ToF pixel can reside on the same semiconductor or on disparate semiconductors.
