Athletes can use the rating system to upload media content for viewing by users. The rating system enables athletes to scout potential competitors, teammates before viewing them play. Additionally, the rating system enables users to rate an athlete after playing with or viewing the athlete in a sporting event.

Each device may include a location detection module, a user interface, a network connection module, a processor and a data storage medium that includes executable instructions and system data. Through the navigation of such screens, a job seeker can identify job posts of interest, apply for jobs, schedule interviews, and request recommendations from referral sources.

A microprocessor executable method and system for determining the semantic relatedness and meaning between at least two natural language sources is described in a prescribed context. Portions of natural languages are vectorized and mathematically processed to express relatedness as a calculated metric. The metric is associable to the natural language sources to graphically present the level of relatedness between at least two natural language sources. The metric may be re-determined with algorithms designed to compare the natural language sources with a knowledge data bank so the calculated metric can be ascertained with a higher level of certainty.

The candidate's information is available to each position, at any time it is published and the candidate can be available to a position that is already published and to positions that will be published in the future without any intervention from the candidate. Because a link is established between the candidate, the company and the desired role, when a new position is opened the application knows that the candidate already approved to be applied to this company and to the new position and he is immediately applied to the position without the ongoing effort of the candidate to search for new positions.

This may be true regardless of whether a primary description of the entity includes the overrepresented token. Accordingly, the entity description machine may access multiple descriptions of multiple users associated with the target entity. A portion of the multiple descriptions may each include a token descriptive of the target entity and of a subset of the multiple users. The entity description machine may determine that the token is overrepresented among the tokens within the multiple descriptions and generate a supplemental description of the target entity, where the supplemental description includes the overrepresented token. Once the supplemental description is generated, the entity description machine may use the supplemental description in referencing the target entity.

Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods, and computer program products for determining the credibility of resumes or resume components posted to an online social network. For example, a rating user may rate the credibility of a resume component posted by a posting user to an online social network. The rating given by the rating user may be adjusted according to a credibility indicator associated with the rating user. The adjusted credibility rating may be used, possibly in combination with adjusted credibility ratings from other rating users, to calculate a weighted average credibility rating for the resume component that will then be visible to users of the online social network. The weighted average credibility rating may be an indication of the credibility of a resume or resume component.
