In one example, a computer-implemented method comprises receiving, by a device operatively coupled to a processor, first feedback information for a group of users regarding mental states of the users during a media presentation. The computer-implemented method can further comprise determining, by the device, first parts of the media presentation considered confusing to at least some of the users and second parts of the media presentation considered interesting to at least some of the users based on the first feedback information, and generating, by the device, an index data structure comprising first information identifying the first parts and classifying the first parts as confusing and second information identifying the second parts and classifying the second parts as interesting.

The computer instructions can enable generating a plurality of personal content utilizing at least a portion of the sensory information, where each of the plurality of personal content includes some of the images captured at different perspectives. Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to correct misattributions of media impressions are disclosed. An example method includes obtaining first demographic-based impressions via a beacon transmitted in response to access to content by a first set of panelists, obtaining, from a database proprietor, second demographic-based impressions of the content on a second set of persons, forming a pseudo-inverse matrix determined based in part on the first impressions, and having a truncated value and a damped value to form third demographic-based impressions of the content on the second set of persons based on the second impressions, and computing at least partially corrected demographic-based impressions values by multiplying a vector of database proprietor impression data by the pseudo-inverse matrix.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for automatically enabling subtitles based on a user profile when a language is spoken with an accent a user has difficulty understanding. For example, a media guidance application may detect a first plurality of user interactions of the user while the given language is being spoken with the accent. Based on the first plurality of interactions, the media guidance application may calculate a first value associated with a user specific level of difficulty indicating how difficult it is for the user to understand the language when spoken with the accent. If the first plurality of user interactions are not being performed again, the media guidance application may update the user specific difficulty with a second value that is lower than the first value. The media guidance application may automatically generate for display subtitles for a media asset based on the user specific level of difficulty.

Abstract: A non-climactic period is forecasted during a live streaming of a main content, where a likelihood of an occurrence of any climactic event in the non-climactic period is below a threshold likelihood, and where a second content is inserted during the non-climactic period. A validation is requested from a first user of the live streaming, of the forecasted non-climactic period and a first response to the request is received from the first user. Based on the first response, a first rank of the first user is computed relative to another user in a group of responding users. A first dynamic delay period that has an inverse relationship with the first rank is computed for the first user. A first transmission of a future portion of the live streaming to the first user is delayed by at least the first dynamic delay period.
