    摘要: A sealed rotary compressor is provided which includes separate pump and gear chambers. Disposed within the pump chamber is a set of rotors operatively associated with a set of gears rotatably mounted within the gear chamber. A substantially pressure differential exists between the two chambers. Rotational power is applied directly to the rotors through a static seal rather than through the gears which are utilized primarily to transmit the dynamic load. The pump chamber is defined by two end plates with a surrounding thin-walled housing. Within the pump chamber are interior thin wall members with the rotary members disposed therebetween and defining inlet and outlet pockets operatively associated with a pump housing inlet and outlet means. The combination of pump and gear chambers are disposed within a separate pressure vessel whereby gas is introduced through the pressure vessel into the pump chamber and is expelled from the pump chamber into the interior of the pressure vessel from where it is expelled to a desired apparatus. The present invention is particulary suitable for applications with CO.sub.2 axial-flow lasers.

The gerotor set comprises an orbiting gerotor displacement device with rotor valving, and with an input drive system directly to the gerotor device without driving through the valving, and also with an axially movable valve with a torsion member between the orbiting gerotor member and the input shaft. There is a split actuation pin for the valve, an eccentric bushing for the pin, and an adjustment for the neutral position of the valve.

    摘要: An arrangement for centering an end wall of a housing of a hydraulic gear machine, such as a pump or a motor, with respect to the open end of an internal chamber provided in a housing body forming the circumferential wall of the housing includes a plurality of pins which are received in a press-fitting manner in bores of the end wall and protrude beyond an end face of the end wall which faces and closes the open end of the chamber in the mounting position. The pins may have contact surfaces which are turned to the same diameter as the corresponding inner surface of the housing body which bounds the open end of the chamber, or they may exactly fit into the open end, or overlap slightly with the inner surface in which event some material displacement or deformation takes place during the assembly of the end wall with the housing body. The bores in the end wall may be equiangularly distributed along a circle centered on an axis coinciding with that of an opening for a drive shaft in the end wall and, in the mounting position, with that of a circular section of the inner surface at the open end. A cylindrical projection may be provided at the other end face of the end wall for clamping the end wall in a clamping arrangement of a material-removing machine during the material-removing operation for producing the contact surfaces of the pins.

Therefore in the break-in operation of the gear pump or motor when the inner wall surfaces at the low pressure side of the gear bower are cut off by the tooth crests of the two gears, built-up edges, which are then formed on the tooth crests of these gears, can drop off immediately, owing to the occurrence of impact forces when they clash with the angular parts of the grooves, and result in a smooth break-in to inner wall surfaces at the low pressure side of the gear bower. Thus the use of housings made of ferrous materials is excellent for the above temperature characteristics.

    摘要: A compact pump and motor assembly adapted for use as a fuel controller for an internal combustion engine fuel metering system. The assembly contains an electric motor, an interface housing assembly at one end of the electric motor and a pump housing assembly disposed on the side of the interface housing assembly opposite that of the motor. The motor shaft extends through the interface housing into a pilot hole in the pump housing and drives a pumping means contained within a pumping chamber defined by the pump housing and the interface housing. An inlet port, an outlet port, and a return port are provided in the pump housing. An inlet passage extends from the inlet port through the gear pump housing and the interface housing into a vapor separation chamber contained within the casing of the motor, the motor being of the wet type. A passage in the interface housing extends from the vapor separation chamber to the inlet of the pumping chamber. An outlet passage in the pump housing extends from the outlet of the pumping chamber to the outlet port. A passage shunting the pumping chamber extends in the interface housing and the pump housing from the separation chamber to the return port, and contained therein is a low pressure regulator valve which regulates pressure in the vapor separation chamber. A further passage extends in the pump housing from the pumping chamber outlet to the return port and a valve assembly is contained therein for diverting a portion of the pump output to the return port under certain conditions at the pumping chamber outlet.
