    摘要: A collapsible structure connection system and method including an apparatus having a pair of mated ferrules, at least one pivoting pin and at least one slider arm. Each ferrule couples to a rod segment of the structure, the ferrules connecting the rod segments when mated, but allowing the rod segments to rotate into a collapsed structure. The apparatus has a locking system in one example embodiment. The systems include a bracket, at and at least one locking device to fix the rod segments in a preferred configuration. An alternate apparatus and collapsible structure connection system includes a pair of mated ferrules each having a lengthwise slot, a connector arm and pivoting pins. The connector arm rotates around the pivoting pins within the slots of the ferrules, allowing the ferrules to rotate into various positions when selectively connecting and collapsing rod segments.

The cam defines a cam bore extending longitudinally along a first cam axis offset relative to the bushing axis such that the cam bore is eccentric relative to the bushing bore. The cam adjustable shim assembly further includes a bolt at least partially disposed within the cam bore along a first cam axis. The bolt is engaged with the cam bore such that rotation of the bolt about the first cam axis causes the cam to rotate within the bushing about the bushing axis.

    摘要: A guide rail clamp comprises a first clamp half and a second clamp half, which when fastened together form a slot therethrough adapted to fit a cylindrical support rod or a flat rectangular support bar. The two halves of the clamp may be held together by a pair of bolts extending through a pair of threaded sleeved nuts, which securely grip the bolts when the two clamp halves are spaced slightly apart. In a preferred embodiment, two pegs extending from one clamp half into holes located in the second half help align and secure the grip of the clamp and minimize motion of the rail. To securely fasten the support rod or support bar inserted within the slot, a bolt may be used to bias the support bar or rod against the edges of the slot.

    摘要: An adjustable connector assembly includes a circular one-piece base member adapted to be attached to a socket coupler for an amputee's residual limb. The base member has axially projecting spaced track portions which receive therebetween a circular flange of a slidable and rotatable one-piece connector member. A pair of clamping plates receive screws threaded into the track portions for releasably clamping the flange to the base member. In one embodiment, the connector member has a dome surface and a four sided boss projecting from the flange. In another embodiment, the connector member has a projecting annular collar having peripherally spaced threaded holes. The base member and connector member are adapted to be machined from solid titanium bar stock.
