    摘要: A cruise control for a vehicle having a mounted rotatable accelerator sleeve and throttle housing which is mounted to a handlebar. The cruise control mounts entirely to the accelerator sleeve and rotates in perfect unity with the throttle when it is rotated. The cruise control is mounted between the throttle housing and the rubber/plastic grip's inner end, directly onto the accelerator sleeve. When the single button of the cruise control is pressed, the cruise control engages and uses friction against the surface of the throttle housing to hold the throttle in place. The operator can force the throttle to rotate by overpowering the friction caused by the cruise control, or preferably, they can disengage the cruise control by pressing the single button again, resetting the cruise control to be engaged again by pressing the single button.

    摘要: An actuator device including a holder element provided to be fixed against a device operated on by the actuator device. An actuator body is displaceable in a longitudinal direction along the holder element. A guide member is provided so as to guide the actuator body along the holder element. The actuator body includes a first part that is operable from outside the actuator device, and a second part that is movable in the longitudinal direction in relation to the first part. The actuator body is displaceable to a first, non-actuated position, in which the first part and the second part of the body are movable in the longitudinal direction and a second, actuated position, in which the second part is rotationally displaced in relation to the first part and abuts an abutment surface on the holder element such that motion of the second part in the longitudinal direction towards the first position is inhibited. The first part includes a rotational locking member that engages the second part in the second position and locks the second part rotationally in the second position.

    摘要: An indexing mechanism comprises a detent spring secured to a shaft and biased into engagement with a long wearing hill and valley insert secured to a housing. A variety of inserts can be secured to a standard housing providing a variety of switching positions and angles of indexing. A plurality of ears extending radially from the insert engage notches within the housing and a pair of spaced arms integral with each of the ears are biased against the walls of the notches to rigidly secure the insert to the housing. A stop element secured to the shaft is provided with a plurality of nubbins engaging a plurality of nubbin receiving notches provided in the detent spring for reinforcing the rotation of the detent spring in response to the rotation of the shaft.

To eliminate such difficulty this invention links lens support actuators with controls at the operator''s position.
