摘要: The invention provides a process to purify a gas stream by using an adsorbent bed and a secondary device to remove heavy hydrocarbons with a recycle stream then sent first to a vessel containing an amine solvent to remove acid gases including carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide and then in most embodiments of the invention sending the treated gas stream to a dehydration unit such as an adsorbent bed or to a triethylene glycol absorbent to remove water. The invention further provides improved integration of the process streams to allow for smaller amine solvent and dehydration units as compared to the prior art.

摘要: A flow-field plate is provided for distributing a reactant to an electrode or a gas diffusion layer of a fuel cell, the flow-field plate having a gas inlet, and having a plurality of channels defining a flow field. A pressure gradient is present between the gas inlet and the flow field given a state of throughflow, which leads to an intake of exhaust gas flowing in the channels in the direction of the gas inlet. Furthermore, there is a water/gas separator which is fluidically connected to the gas inlet for separating liquid water and/or water vapor from a gas which is connected to the flow field in order to supply the gas separated in the water/gas separator to the flow field. A flow cross-section at the gas inlet or at the gas inlet region is smaller than the flow cross-section at or in the region of the water/gas separator.

摘要: A system and method of pre-purification of a feed gas stream is provided that is particularly suitable for pre-purification of a feed air stream in cryogenic air separation unit. The disclosed pre-purification systems and methods are configured to remove substantially all of the hydrogen, carbon monoxide, water, and carbon dioxide impurities from a feed air stream and is particularly suitable for use in a high purity or ultra-high purity nitrogen plant. The pre-purification systems and methods preferably employ two or more separate layers of hopcalite catalyst with the successive layers of the hopcalite separated by a zeolite adsorbent layer that removes water and carbon dioxide produced in the hopcalite layers. Alternatively, the pre-purification systems and methods employ a hopcalite catalyst layer and a noble metal catalyst layer separated by a zeolite adsorbent layer that removes water and carbon dioxide produced in the hopcalite layer.

摘要: A biogas combustion system that obtains a stable output and saves energy is realized. A combustion system comprises a separation portion 14 that removes carbon dioxide from a treatment target gas containing a mixture gas containing methane as a main component and containing carbon dioxide to obtain methane gas of a high purity in which at least a content of carbon dioxide has been reduced, and a combustion portion 15 that combusts the methane gas. The separation portion 14 includes a first treatment chamber 11 and a second treatment chamber 12 separated from each other by a separation membrane 13 therebetween. The separation membrane 13 selectively allows the carbon dioxide in the treatment target gas supplied to the first treatment chamber 11 to pass therethrough to the second treatment chamber 12 to obtain a first separation gas having a higher methane purity than the treatment target gas in the first treatment chamber 11 and a second separation gas containing the carbon dioxide in the treatment target gas in the second treatment chamber 12.

摘要: A dry air generation apparatus includes a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a switching valve, and a controller. The first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are provided in the air flow path, and the moisture contained in the air is removed by cooling the air which flows through the flow path to 0° C. or lower. The switching valve switches the direction of the air flowing through the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The controller controls the first heat exchanger, the second heat exchanger, and the switching valve. The first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are connected in series in the air flow path.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, apparatuses and methods for the use of deep vacuum for the regeneration of desiccant in compressed gas desiccant dryers. Through the use of a vacuum pump operably coupled to a gas dryer, the systems and methods described herein allow for a gas dryer system to reach a deep vacuum pressure, inducing liquid within the desiccant in a gas dryer tower to reach a boiling point induced by the low pressure and lower boiling point of water or liquid, allowing the water or liquid to change from a liquid to a gas. This phase change allows the liquid to separate from the desiccant. The vacuum pump is then able to remove or pull the vapor that has been released from the desiccant from the system.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for separating gases which comprises: a first step in which a gas fuel stream comprising combustible substances that produce gas products when oxidised, and an oxygen-rich inlet stream are passed through at least two modules of oxygen-separating ceramic membranes, such that the two streams come into contact through the membranes and exchange heat; a second step of selective diffusion of oxygen from the oxygen-rich stream to the fuel stream, such that the outlet streams from the membrane modules are an oxygen-depleted or completely oxygen-free stream and a partially or completely oxidised stream; and a third step of recovery of at least two separate outlet streams of at least two gases selected from oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen.
