    摘要: An air spring for railroad cars includes an air spring part formed by an upper support on a vehicle body side, an intermediate support arranged therebelow, and a diaphragm made of rubber and extending between the upper support and the intermediate support; and an elastic mechanism b formed by a rubber mass 5 interposed between the intermediate support and a lower support 4 on a bogie side arranged therebelow. The rubber mass 5 has an end in contact with the lower support 4 formed as an enlarged end 5A increasing in diameter as approaching the lower support 4 in a vertical direction. An outer circumferential portion of this enlarged end is fitted in and bonded to an annular groove 12 formed in the lower support 4, and the annular groove 12 has an annular bottom 12A inclined to decrease in height radially outwards to have an annular tapered bottom 12a.

    摘要: A suspension system includes a body comprising a cylindrical cavity in which a piston is slidably mounted that divides the cylindrical cavity into two working chambers: a lower chamber and an upper chamber, each of which receives a gas. The piston is connected to a piston rod protruding from the cylindrical cavity through a sealing ring. The body slides within an external tube of the suspension system. The external tube is engaged around the piston rod and a lower plug is at its free end to which the end of the piston rod is secured. The space between the lower plug and the sealing ring determines within the external tube a third chamber filled with gas by a preload valve. A single filling valve fills the lower and upper chambers, and a transfer element transfers gas from one of the two working chambers to the other, according to predetermined conditions.

    摘要: A shock absorber has a valve controlling the flow rate of fluid between a first chamber and a second chamber. The shock absorber may include a blocker that has a variable profile. The blocker may be rotatable using an external adjuster to position the blocker to variably occlude an aperture and vary the damping of the suspension. A bias may also be positioned adjacent the blocker to allow force from the fluid to move the blocker and expose the aperture, thereby allowing fluid to flow through the entirety of the aperture.

    摘要: A position-and-velocity dependent hydraulic damper is provided. The hydraulic damper has piston valve fixed to a tip of a piston rod, a base valve, and a reservoir chamber. The base valve has a compression side port. Between a first valve and the base valve, a first spiral spring is provided, and between the first valve and the piston valve, a second spiral spring is provided. The compression side port is closed by the first valve around the maximum compression state, reducing the flow rate of oil to the reservoir chamber. A second valve passing through the centers of the first valve and the base valve adjusts the flow rate of the oil to the reservoir chamber with a pressure equal to or higher than a prescribed level of an oil chamber.
