    摘要: A medium voltage inrush current (MVIC) regulator and interconnection control system for interposing between a distributed power generation facility and a utility grid. The facility has a designated generator step-up (GSU) transformer and is connected to the utility grid at a point of interconnect. The system includes a pre-insertion impedance injection transformer, a low voltage first switch connected between the pre-insertion transformer and secondary coils of the designated GSU transformer, a medium voltage second switch connected inline between the pre-insertion transformer and primary coils of the designated GSU transformer, and a controller. In response to restoration of the utility grid following a loss-of-grid event, the controller opens and closes the first and second switches according to an automated pre-energization switching sequence such that magnetic flux in the designated GSU transformer occurs at a reduced rate, thereby reducing inrush of current and undesirable power quality phenomena

The auxiliary-machine controller is configured to control the drive state of the auxiliary machine that is driven by the engine such that, in a case where the engine is automatically restarted from the state in which idling is stopped by the idling-stop controller, a time differential value of an engine speed of the engine is constant.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for braking a translator of a linear multiphase electromagnetic machine. The system detects a fault event, and in response to detecting the fault event, causes the translator to brake using an electromagnetic technique. Braking includes causing the translator to stop reciprocating, by applying a force opposing an axial motion, which may occur within one cycle, or over many cycles. The fault event may include, for example, a fault associated with an encoder, a controller, an electrical component, a communications link, a phase, or a subsystem. The system includes a power electronics system configured to apply current to the phases. The system may use position information, current information, operating parameters, or a combination thereof to brake. Alternatively, the system need not use position information, current information, and operating parameters, and may brake the translator independent of such information.

    摘要: A method of controlling a power system that includes an electrical machine, e.g., wind turbine generator, a power converter, a DC circuit and a dynamic braking system (DBS) having a braking circuit having a braking resistor and being connected in series to the DC circuit, is provided. The method includes operating the DBS and controlling operation of the electrical machine based on a prevailing temperature of the braking circuit, stopping the electrical machine and controlling the electrical machine to be restarted at its rated output power once the prevailing temperature of the braking resistor reaches or falls below a lower temperature threshold. The electrical machine may be restarted at a lower output power and after restarting, its output power can be increased based on a power starting profile as the braking resistor cools.

The vibration isolation device is designed for the main order of vibration of the internal combustion engine. The vibration isolation device has a resonance characteristic below an idling speed (nL) of the internal combustion engine in a resonance range occurring in a first speed range (Δn2). The resonance range is shifted into a second, lower speed range (Δn1) when the electric machine is coupled. The electric machine is arranged to supply a torque effective beyond the second, lower speed range (Δn1).
