Abstract: A vehicle driving support apparatus to be applied to a vehicle comprises a running environment recognizer; a preceding vehicle information acquirer that detects a vehicle class and variation in behavior of a preceding vehicle; an amount-of-steering control calculator that calculates an amount of steering control to cause the vehicle to run along a target path of travel set on a lane; a disturbance estimation control calculator that estimates lateral-direction disturbance to calculate an amount of steering against the disturbance based on the estimated disturbance; and a coordination controller that corrects the amount of steering control with the amount of steering. If a rolling direction and a lateral motion direction of the preceding vehicle coincide with each other, the disturbance estimation control calculator determines that the variation in the behavior of the preceding vehicle is caused by the disturbance, and calculates the amount of steering.

Abstract: A vehicle driving assistance apparatus includes a traveling environment recognizer and an adaptive cruise controller. The traveling environment recognizer recognizes traveling environment information regarding an outside of a vehicle. Based on the traveling environment information, the adaptive cruise controller performs a follow-up traveling control of causing the vehicle to travel to follow a preceding vehicle, if recognized, and performs a constant-speed traveling control of causing the vehicle to travel at constant speed. If the vehicle starts a lane change to a traveling lane during traveling based on the follow-up traveling control, the adaptive cruise controller keeps a target vehicle speed at a start of the lane change at least until the lane change ends, and thereafter accelerates the vehicle, by setting a set vehicle speed as a new target vehicle speed, and setting a target acceleration rate based on the new target vehicle speed.

Abstract: A driver assistance device acquires information about vehicle-driving environment ahead of the vehicle to detect an intersection. Upon determining that the vehicle makes a right- or left-hand turn at the intersection, the driver assistance device sets a projected course of the vehicle and recognizes a moving object ahead in a direction in which the vehicle making a right- or left-hand turn is headed. The driver assistance device calculates a movement vector from positional changes of the moving object to calculate a meeting point of a path of the object and the projected course. When an interval between times at which the vehicle and the moving object reach the meeting point is found to fall within a predetermined range, the driver assistance device determines that there is a possibility of interference between the vehicle and the moving object and then causes the vehicle to halt short of the meeting point.

Abstract: A distracted-driving monitoring apparatus for a vehicle includes an imaging device and a determiner. The imaging device is configured to capture an image indicating at least an occupant of the vehicle. The determiner is configured to make a determination on distracted driving of the occupant of the vehicle based on the captured image. The determiner is configured to determine areas in the captured image corresponding to areas that the occupant faces from among divided areas obtained by dividing a viewing range. The viewing range corresponds to a range where the occupant is likely to face while the vehicle is in operation. The determiner is configured to execute determination processing differently for each of the determined areas to make the determination on the distracted driving of the occupant.
