Abstract: A plurality of techniques that can reduce the power consumed by a low power node in a Bluetooth Mesh network are disclosed. One technique allows the low power node to receive more than one queued message from a friend node in a single packet, thereby reducing the number of transmissions required of the low power node. Another technique allows the low power node to utilize link layer device filtering so that messages that are not of interest are not processed by the low power node. A third technique allows the low power node to readily determine whether potential friend nodes are available before initiating the friendship establishment procedure.

Abstract: A wireless receiver device includes a decoder, a memory and a processor. The decoder is configured to decode a packet in a period of several symbols to obtain raw data. The memory is configured to temporarily store the raw data. The processor is configured to determine at least one non-idle symbol and at least one idle symbol from the symbols according to the number of data bits per symbol and the number of symbols corresponding to the packet. The processor accesses the memory to perform data parsing on the raw data in a period of the non-idle symbol, but enters an idle state so as not to access the memory in a period of the idle symbol.

Abstract: A Wi-Fi wake-up receiver that receives wake-up signals encoded using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing based on-off keying (OFDM-OOK) modulation includes receiver circuitry having analog envelope detector circuitry configured to non-linearly down-convert an input signal and provide an energy signal for sampling by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). A wake-up signal for waking up a main radio in a Wi-Fi device can be based on the digitized energy signal. The receiver circuitry can further include, upstream of the envelope detector circuitry and the ADC in the signal chain, an analog mixer for linearly down-converting the input signal and a low-pass filter for attenuating adjacent-channel interferer (ACI) signals prior to the non-linear down-conversion by the envelope detector circuitry. Sampling of the energy signal rather than the higher-bandwidth input signal yield power savings in the ADC and associated circuitry such as a modem.

Abstract: A non-access point multi-link device (non-AP MLD) receives from an access point multi-link device (AP MLD), while in a first power save mode, a beacon frame comprising a traffic indication map (TIM) element indicating downlink buffered units (BUs) for the non-AP MLD, where during the first power save mode the non-AP MLD wakes to listen for beacon frames on one of enabled links at least once within a listen interval. After receiving the downlink BUs from the AP MLD, the non-AP MLD switches to a second power save mode, where during the second power save mode the non-AP MLD wakes to listen for beacon frames at each target beacon transmission time (TBTT) on the enabled links until a timer expires.

Abstract: A system for enhancing an energy efficiency of a mobile network includes a digital twin connected to the mobile network. The digital twin is programmed to: receive, from the mobile network, real-time network traffic data and base station data of base stations operating in the mobile network; generate a first prediction of network traffic at a first time-scale based on the real-time network traffic data; generate a second prediction of network traffic at a second time-scale based on the real-time network traffic data and the base station data; and generate a first power consumption prediction for the mobile network based on the first prediction, the second prediction, and a topology of the mobile network, and the digital twin emulates at least a portion of the mobile network.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and each PDSCH transmission may be associated with downlink control information (DCI) and a group of PDSCH transmissions. Further, the WTRU may determine a first group or a second group based on an indication received in DCI associated with at least one of the PDSCH transmissions. Then, the WTRU may generate hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback for data received in one or more PDSCH transmissions associated with the determined group. Moreover, the WTRU may transmit the HARQ-ACK feedback. In an example, the DCI which includes the indication may schedule a plurality of PDSCH transmissions included in the determined group. In another example, the DCI which includes the indication may further include a first codepoint mapped to the first group or a second codepoint mapped to the second group.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are described in which an predictive discontinuous reception (DRX) bypass service is provided. The bypass service may provide flow control signaling that enables an uplink grant to be transmitted to an end device regardless of the DRX mode. The bypass service may provide for an immediate grant for uplink data and may improve latency. The bypass service may also provide flow control signaling for downlink data that may cause the end device to wake up from a DRX mode and receive downlink data. The bypass service also provides predictive scheduling that allows an external network, such as a multi-access edge computing network to establish a DRX-free downlink connection before completion of data processing. The flow control signaling may include a quality of service flow identifier value that correlates to the bypass service.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are power-saving signal configuration and transmission methods and apparatuses. In the present application, a base station configures search space set configuration information of a power-saving signal, and sends same to a terminal. The power-saving signal search space set configuration information includes first configuration information and second configuration information; the first configuration information is search space set configuration information of a power-saving signal used when the terminal is in a short DRX cycle; and the second configuration information is search space set configuration information of a power-saving signal used when the terminal is in a long DRX cycle.
