摘要： An agricultural harvesting head comprises a frame that supports a cutter configured to cut an agricultural product. The agricultural harvesting head also comprises a set of laterally extending and forward tilted feeding tracks that guide the cut agricultural product to a center of the agricultural harvesting head. The set of feeding tracks comprise a base web of elastomer-impregnated fabric, elongated cleats that extend upward from the base web and extend across substantially the entire width of the base web and a plurality of textured protrusions that extend upward from the web between adjacent elongate cleats. The textured protrusions protrude upward from the base web a distance sufficient to catch and hold grain rolling downhill in a direction perpendicular to the direction of travel of the feeding track and extend over substantially the entire width of the base web. A center feeding track configured to receive the cut agricultural product from the set of laterally extending feeding tracks and guide the agricultural product into a body of an agricultural harvester.

摘要： The Multipurpose Leaf Crop Harvesting Apparatus and Processing Method will accomplish seven steps in one pass of the combine harvester. This apparatus and processing method harvests leaf crops and is configured to perform multiple processing operations, including fractionation of the leaf crop, leaf maceration, leaf sizing, elevating the leaf fraction to a transport vehicle, and stem conditioning, cutting and windrowing, in a single pass through the crop field. These steps are accomplished using a header unit, an adapter feeder macerator and a forage harvester vehicle, expeditiously removing the leaf fraction from the field. Following leaf fraction harvesting, the leaf fraction is processed by densification into forage feed products. The processed leaf fraction can be combined with other feeds to make up customized feed rations. The stem fraction is also processed. The present invention can also be used to harvest grass crops.

摘要： A grain tank level sensing system for a combine which harvests grain. The combine includes an upwardly open grain tank fillable with harvested grain and a cover that is displaceable for closing off the open grain tank. An actuator displaces the cover between an open and close position and either single or dual ultrasonic sensors continuously detect the level of grain in the tank and generate a signal proportional to the level of grain in the grain tank. A control system receives the signal from the ultrasonic sensors and generates an indication of the level in the tank to a monitor and/or disables the actuator to initiate the closing function when the grain tank is full.
