摘要: A device to measure the material level inside the container includes a housing unit removably attachable to a cap of a container for holding a beverage, wherein the housing unit is configured to remain attached to the cap when the cap is at least partially removed from the container. The device further includes, a signal producing unit located in the housing unit, a first sensor located in the housing unit to sense a beverage level in the container and a controller located in the housing unit. The controller is configured to receive from the first sensor an indication of a beverage level in the container and activate the signal producing unit based at least on the indication of the beverage level in the container.

Accordingly, the filling state of the glue reservoir unit and a machine performance of the transport means and/or of the labeling assembly are continuously measured and, on this basis, at least one remaining running time is calculated, which indicates how long labeling can still be carried out, at the filling state, in the case of an assumed further course of machine performance. The output of the remaining running time facilitates continuous production planning and enables efficient personnel use for the required replenishment of consumables.

摘要: A wireless drink container can monitor a person's hydration and prompt him or her to drink more if appropriate. The drink containers as described herein can monitor liquid levels and communicate with external devices about the liquid levels and rate of consumption. One or more sensors in the drink container monitor the liquid level within the container. A processor coupled to the sensor(s) estimates how much liquid has been removed from the container from changes in the liquid level and transmits a signal representing the change in liquid level to a smartphone or other external device. It also triggers an audio or visual indicator, such as an LED, that prompts the user to drink more based on the user's estimated liquid consumption and on the user's liquid consumption goals, which may be based on the user's physiology, activity level, and location.

摘要: Methods and systems for measuring pipe parameters using guided acoustic wave modes are provided. The method includes receiving data corresponding to an acoustic signal, wherein the data are obtained by transmitting an excitation pulse at a specified frequency and detecting the resulting acoustic signal using an acoustic transducer attached to the outer surface of the pipe wall. The method includes analyzing the data to identify guided acoustic wave modes including at least two of: a C-SH acoustic wave mode that travels within the pipe wall; a C-LT acoustic wave mode that travels within the near-surface region of the pipe wall; and/or a CA acoustic wave mode that travels within the pipe cavity. The method includes calibrating the parameter measurement using the C-SH acoustic wave mode and determining the parameter measurement based on the phase velocity and/or the amplitude of the C-LT acoustic wave mode and/or the CA acoustic wave mode.

摘要: A triple authentication waste level monitoring system for an aircraft includes a point level sensor for monitoring a wastewater level within a waste tank, a load cell for measuring a weight of the waste tank, and a flush counter for counting a number of toilet flushes since a previous service to the waste tank. A controller receives data from these three sensors and determines whether the waste tank is at capacity. The controller can determine waste tank capacity whether or not the point level sensor is faulty and compares the sensor data with various thresholds to ensure accuracy of the waste tank fluid level determination.
