摘要： A turf maintenance apparatus with an auger for transporting turf clippings out from a mowing implement of the turf maintenance apparatus can reduce power consumption for a bagging implementation for an electric-powered machine. In some embodiments, the turf maintenance apparatus can have an electric motor as a prime mover, or an electric motor for powering the mowing implement, or a combination of the foregoing. The auger can be powered by an electric motor and convey turf clippings, leaves, vegetation and other material expelled from a mow deck of the turf maintenance apparatus to a receptacle, bag or the like.

摘要： A walk power mower has a deck that provides a cutting chamber for enclosing a rotary grass cutting blade. An assembly is provided for adding ambient air to the cutting chamber during a grass mowing operation to improve performance. The assembly comprises an air vent placed in a top wall of the cutting chamber. An external cover outside of the cutting chamber and above the top wall of the cutting chamber has an air permeable section located forwardly of the air vent to admit air into the cover to thereby feed that air to the air vent. An internal cover inside the cutting chamber and below the top wall of the cutting chamber receives the air passing inwardly through the air vent and discharges such air into the cutting chamber at a location that is spaced from the air vent.

摘要： A basecutter assembly for a sugarcane harvester comprises a first cutter, a second cutter, a first feeder, a second feeder, a cutter drive, and a feed drive. The first and second cutters are adapted to sever sugarcane stalk. The first and second feeders are adapted to feed the severed sugarcane stalk. The cutter drive is coupled to the first cutter and the second cutter to rotate the first cutter and the second cutter respectively about the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis. The feed drive is coupled to the first feeder and the second feeder to rotate the first feeder and the second feeder respectively about the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis. The basecutter assembly may comprise a variator. According to another aspect, the basecutter assembly may comprise a planetary gear set.

摘要： A mobile platform biomass harvester has a header, a biomass processor, a storage container, a guidance system, an engine, an electric generator, and a guidance system. The header harvests biomass. The biomass processor includes a shredder, a press, a dryer, and a densifier. The densifier compacts the biomass into a multitude of compressed biomass pieces. The storage container receives compressed biomass pieces from the biomass processor. The guidance system guides the mobile platform at a speed determined by the operating capacity of the mobile platform. The engine generates shaft power. The electrical generator converts the shaft power to electricity to power the guidance system.
