    摘要: A miter saw which prevents deterioration in perpendicularity of a cutting blade to the upper surface of a base part when slide of a pipe is regulated by pressing a pipe. In a miter saw, a pair of pipes support a cutting part, on one end side. On the other end side, the pipes are surrounded and supported slidably by a first slide support part of a support member of a turntable. A virtual plane including the axes of the pair of pipes is substantially parallel to the pivotal direction of a disc saw blade. A first screw is screwed in the first slide support part. An end part of the first screw contacts and presses a pipe. This end part is engaged with the pipe so as to restrict slide of the pipe relative to the first slide support part.

    摘要: A paper cutting device, for cutting multiple sheets of paper stacked in layers on a table, comprises a paper retainer (2) descending from an upper side along a guide and a cutter (3) diagonally ascending from the lower side. A receiving part (18) is mounted on the lower surface of a paper retaining frame (20). The receiving part (18) is formed by joining a base plate (36) with a large elastic modulus such as a metal to a resin receiving plate (37). A slip prevention structure is installed on the junction surfaces of the base plate (36) and the receiving plate (37) to suppress the extension/retraction of the receiving part of the paper retainer so as to prevent wrinkles from occurring in the paper near a blade receiving surface when the paper is cut off.

Thereby, when the movable blade is pushed downward, the connecting element is driven to rotate and move along the teeth while approaching and sliding with respect to the stationary blade.

    摘要: The design and method for no sew fabric quilting is described that produces quilt like pictures for home decor or other uses. A pliable or foam like material serves as the quilting medium to which fabric is attached by tucking the fabric into cut pattern grooves. A thin rigid base provides support to the quilt picture. An adhesive coating with a paper carrier is part of the cut pattern medium and provides added support to the cut grooves in holding fabric in place. The paper carrier, when peeled off the adhesive also serves as a pattern piece to cut the fabric. Fabric is placed on the adhesive and edges tucked into pattern grooves using a narrow scalpel like tool. A thin foam sheet attached to the base backside finishes the item and is then ready to be hung after adding a wall hanger.
