摘要： Groceries ordered over the Internet by a particular time in the early evening may be delivered by the next morning to a location within a 5-6 hour delivery radius of a warehouse. The grocery order is filled at the warehouse, where the groceries are placed in a tote for delivery. If perishable groceries are to be delivered, a frozen insert is placed in the tote to maintain the groceries at a desired temperature. The filled tote is placed on a rack, which is removable with the tote on it. The racks have shelves that are pitched such that when a first tote is removed a second tote behind the first tote falls into the space previously occupied by the first tote. In the early evening, after the cutoff time for placing orders, the rack and totes on the rack are transferred to a first vehicle, typically a large trailer, that transports the rack and totes to a transfer point where the rack and the accompanying bill of lading are transferred to a second smaller vehicle, such as a van. The van delivers the totes to customers along a pre-established route. Upon reaching a delivery destination (usually a customer's home) by early the next morning, the van driver removes the tote for that customer from the van and secures it at the delivery destination. The tote may be secured in a locked expandable bag, such as a mesh net or insulated bag, that is itself secured to a grocery box. Alternatively, the tote may be secured by looping a chain or cable through and around a pair of eyelets on the tote. The customer removes the tote from the bag, removes the groceries from the tote, and returns the used tote to the bag for later pickup by the van.

摘要： A set of lockers allows a customer to drop off commodities for a service company to pick up. An order is input using an operation screen, and an order sheet which specifies the locker number is issued. A commodity, for example undeveloped film, and the order sheet are put in a transparent request bag and deposited in the locker. When the service company picks up the request bag, the request bag is taken out of the locker, and a bar code on the order sheet is read by a hand scanner. When the order sheet is scanned, the locker it came from is automatically locked, and the next locker which has an undeveloped film order is automatically opened. After processing the film, the developed film and prints are put in a delivery bag, with an attached slip having the locker number to which the bag is to be delivered. Upon delivery to the locker, a first bar code on a slip is read by a hand scanner, and a first locker is unlocked. When a second bar code is scanned, a second locker is automatically unlocked, and the first locker is automatically locked.

The passageway has an opened bottom obstructed by a tiltable cam plate which hinder the movement of the sliding member. The introduction of a coin in the passageway tilts the cam plate and releases the sliding member. A key operated lever actuates the liberated sliding member and projects the latch outside the lock for engaging into a catch.

Latch retainer pins, subject to gradual wear, are made easily replaceable on the mounting bracket. Counterweighted pawls, which must accurately gage the heights of required coin combinations, have an improved mounting and adjusting arrangement on the mechanism whereby the parts can be quickly disassembled and reassembled and adjusted on the mechanism for accuracy of operation. The invention additionally possesses an improved and simplified Sunday paper lock out and release device and an improved coin release and return mechanism for improper or defective coins including a unique anti-cheat feature.
