摘要: Apparatus and associated methods relate to powering a constant voltage DC load using a rectified output of a lighting ballast. In an illustrative example, the ballast may be configured to operate as a constant-current source. The DC load may, for example, comprise an array of LED strings connected in parallel. The number of LED strings may, for example, be selected to match a power output of the ballast. The number of LEDs in each string may, for example, be selected to match a rectified voltage output range of the ballast. A normally-open thermostat may, for example, be connected in parallel between the ballast and a rectifier and be configured to short-circuit the ballast if the circuit overheats. Various embodiments may advantageously utilize existing power processing functions of an electronic ballast to reduce complexity of a driver circuit for a constant voltage DC source.

摘要: LED related lighting methods and apparatus are described. Various features relate to water tight light fixtures. Some of the fixtures are spotlights while other fixture are intended for in ground use. The light fixtures in at least some embodiments include power control features. In spotlight embodiments beam angle and power or light output can be controlled without opening the light assembly or compromising the water tight seals which also protect against dirt. In ground embodiments support tilt angle setting which allow a user to set the light fixture to one or more tilt angles. Beam angle can also be changed in some embodiments as well as power control. Beam angle, power control and tilt angle adjustments are supported in some embodiments but need not be supported in all embodiments with some embodiments using one or more of the described features but not all features.

摘要: A driving circuit device for anti-leakage LED tube with dual-end input is provided. Two ends of the LED tube have two conductive pin assemblies electrically connected to mains supply. Each of the conductive pin assemblies includes two pins. One of the conductive pin assemblies is connected to an input bridge rectifier and has an output end. A constant current module has an input end. The input end of the constant current module is connected to the output end of the anti-leakage detection module. The anti-leakage detection module is provided for detecting a current state. A current is controlled to be outputted from the output end and to be inputted into the input end according to the current state, and the constant current module is changed to output a loop current not exceeding a rated standard.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an OLED light source drive control circuit and an OLED lamp. The drive control circuit includes a DC/DC constant voltage module, an external transceiver, a first internal transceiver, a microcontroller unit, a linear constant current module, and an OLED panel and a light source. The microcontroller unit communicates with the first internal transceiver, feeds back the detected output voltage to the DC/DC constant voltage module, and controls the DC/DC constant voltage module to operate. The first internal transceiver is connected with the linear constant current module through a differential bus. The linear constant current module includes a plurality of linear constant current driver ICs, each contains a second internal transceiver, and a differential bus interface of the second internal transceiver is respectively connected with a differential bus communication line connecting with a differential bus interface of the first internal transceiver. The present disclosure has a stronger anti-interference ability and effectively improves the circuit conversion efficiency of the entire drive system.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a leakage protection circuit, a method and a drive device. The leakage protection circuit is used for being electrically connected with the power supply line of a load, and may be configured to sample the power supply line at intervals, detect the voltage of the sampled electrical signals to determine whether the voltage of the AC input power is divided, and provide leakage protection based on the determined result. The present disclosure can prevent human from electric shock through sampling the electric signals from the power supply line at intervals and performing voltage detection and comparasion to determine whether the voltage of the accessed AC input power is divided, when the voltage of the accessed AC input power is determined to be divided, the power supply line will be controlled in non-conductive state.

摘要: A load control device for controlling the power delivered from an AC power source to an electrical load includes a thyristor, a gate coupling circuit for conducting a gate current through a gate of the thyristor, and a control circuit for controlling the gate coupling circuit to conduct the gate current through a first current path to render the thyristor conductive at a firing time during a half cycle. The gate coupling circuit is able to conduct the gate current through the first current path again after the firing time, but the gate current is not able to be conducted through the gate from a transition time before the end of the half-cycle until approximately the end of the half-cycle. The load current is able to be conducted through a second current path to the electrical load after the transition time until approximately the end of the half-cycle.

The driver includes a flicker eliminating circuit, which is adapted to operate in a saturation mode when the input voltage is below a threshold voltage. It operates in a switch mode when the input voltage is above a threshold voltage. A voltage drop in the flicker eliminating circuit in the saturation mode is higher than in the switch mode.

摘要: A single solid state luminaire product is field-configurable to a plurality of discrete coordinated color temperature (CCT) and/or maximum luminosity settings. A field-actuated control circuit may control a current ratio control circuit, which directs drive current from a power supply to selected ones, or in selected ratios to multiple ones, of heterogeneous LED strings. Additionally or alternatively the control circuit may control the power supply, to select an overall maximum level of drive current, which determines the maximum luminosity of the luminaire. Inputs for CCT and/or maximum luminosity are input to the field-actuated control circuit prior to the luminaire being removed from its product packaging. Embodiments allow a distributor to order and stock a large inventory of substantially identical luminaires from the manufacturer, yet still offer customers a variety of different CCT and/or maximum luminosity products.
