    摘要: The present invention discloses an antenna adapted for use in a wireless network device. The antenna includes a base and two antenna portions. Each antenna portion includes a radiation section and a ground section. The ground sections of the two antenna portions are connected with the same base and substantially perpendicular to the base. The radiation section is connected with the ground section and substantially parallel to the base with a difference in height formed between the radiation section and the base. The antenna is a single component integrally formed by stamping an electrically conductive thin metal plate, which not only facilitates fabrication thereof, but also the assembly of the antenna to a substrate of the wireless network device, thereby increasing the gain of the wireless network device along a vertical direction.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a single-plate dual-band antenna for a wireless network device. The antenna comprises a base portion, a ground portion, a radiating portion and a signal portion. The base portion is combined with the wireless network device. The ground portion has an end connected with the base portion and extends upwards from the base portion to a certain height. The signal portion is generally perpendicular to the radiating portion, the ground portion and the base portion, respectively. The signal portion has an upper side and a lower end. The upper side is formed with a connecting edge connected with the radiating portion while the lower end is formed with a feed pin, so that the signal portion generally has a downwardly tapered, inverted triangular structure. The radiating portion further comprises a first radiating section and a second radiating section. The first radiating section extends a first length from an upper end of the ground portion along the connecting edge of the signal portion, while the second radiating section extends a second length sinuously from an end of the first radiating section distal from the ground portion.

Each of the embedded portions has a side wall portion and a locking wing portion. The radiation member is connected to the ground member, substantially parallel to the base, and spaced apart from the base with a second height. The signal member is connected to the radiation member, substantially vertical to the base, and formed with a free end separated from the base. When the antenna is positioned in at least one slot formed on a substrate of the wireless network device, the radiation member is spaced apart from the substrate with a height difference between the second height and the first height.

The second radiator is a generally C-shaped plate having a connecting section and a free-end portion. A ground end and an input end are provided at predetermined positions of the connecting section and are respectively and electrically connected to a grounding portion and a control circuit of a substrate. The free-end portion overlaps with the orthogonal projection of the first radiator and is parallel to the first radiator. The third radiator is electrically connected to the second radiator via a conductive post and is parallel to the second radiator. The second and third radiators are provided on the substrate while the first radiator is provided outside the substrate.     摘要: A method for automatically allocating channels of a wireless network system comprises the steps of: actuating one of access points (APs) for collecting channel status information, such as channel numerals and Received Signal Strength Incident (RSSI), of the other of the access points near by that access point; calculating an accumulated RSSI value of each of the access points according to the collected channel numerals and the RSSI value via a Network Management Server (NMS); calculating the accumulated RSSI value of each of the access points by weighting to obtain a weighted RSSI value thereof; and switching an operation channel of the actuated access point into the better channel having a relatively lower weighted RSSI value for improving the overall efficiency of the wireless network system. Furthermore, the method for automatically allocating channels can be used to periodically monitor the channel status of the channel corresponding to each of the access points, so as to actively fine-adjust the channel of that access point or to change a monitor period.
