    摘要: A method for transmitting messages from a server to a client in an internet transmission system includes: (a) the client sends to the server a request for transmitting a picture file, (b) in response to the reception of the request the server generates a picture file with a first content, in case that no message is available for the client, and delays the transmission of the picture file to the client for a time interval, (c) in response to the reception of the picture file with the first content, the client again sends a request for sending (transmitting) a picture file, (d) the steps (a) to (c) are repeated till, upon the last request, a message is available at the server for transmission to the client, (e) the server transmits, in response to the last request of the client, the picture file with a second content, (f) in response to the reception of the picture file with the second content, the client then sends a request for transmitting the message, (g) in response to the reception of the request for transmitting the message, the server then transmits the message to the client.

    摘要: A transmission arrangement for wireless transmission of an MPEG2-TS (Transport Stream) compatible datastream is provided with a signal source for supplying the MPEG2-TS compatible datastream, and an arrangement for wirelessly transmitting the MPEG2-TS compatible datastream. The signal source includes an arrangement for receiving an MPEG2-TS compatible datastream, which datastream includes a plurality of video- and/or audio information signals, and is further provided with a selection arrangement which is adapted to (i) derive only one video- and/or audio information signal from the MPEG2-TS compatible datastream having the plurality of video- and/or audio information signals, (ii) generate an MPEG2-TS compatible datastream which includes this only one video- and/or audio information signal, and (iii) supply this datastream as MPEG2 TS compatible output datastream to an output of the signal source. The transmission arrangement is capable of transmitting a video- and/or audio information signal available in the form of an MPEG2-TS compatible datastream.

    摘要: A transmission arrangement is provided with a first and a second mobile transmitter for transmitting an information signal to a receiver. The first transmitter is adapted to store subsequent blocks of the information signal in subsequent IP (Internet Protocol) information blocks (IPB) and to transmit the IP information blocks as first information signal via an IP transmission path to the receiver. Furthermore, the first transmitter is adapted to transmit a second information signal derived from the first mentioned information signal in subsequent information blocks as a second transmission signal via a second transmission path to the second transmitter. The second transmitter is adapted to derive an error correction signal from the second transmission signal and to transmit the error correction signal in IP information blocks as a third transmission signal via a third transmission path to the receiver. At least the second mobile transmitter includes a smartphone operating system. Deriving the error correction signal in the second transmitter can be realized by already converting the information signal in the first transmitter into an error correction signal, and the second transmitter merely derives the error correction signal from the second transmission signal.

The switching sink (SS) is adapted to receive the real-time media stream of the first source (Q1) in a packet-switched format and to forward the received real-time media stream in a packet-switched format, wherein the packets are provided with a first multi-point destination address (IPMZS) allocated to the switching sink (SS) during forwarding in order to allow for a connecting of the one or multiple sinks (S2) with the real-time media stream of the first source (Q1) forwarded by the switching sink (SS). The switching sink (SS) represents the source of the real-time media stream forwarded by the switching sink (SS) from the “point of view” of the sinks (S1, S2, S3) connected to the apparatus, with which the sinks (S1, S2, S3) can connect through the multi-point destination address (IPMZS).

    摘要: Recent production methods for 3D video as a general rule generate stereo images in a same phase of movement. The left and right images of a stereo pair thus image the recorded (or rendered) scene at a same point of time. Correct reproduction consequently requires the two images to be shown concurrently. This is, however, not true for all apparatuses such as, for example, 3D television sets including the so-called shutter technology, which show the left and right images in temporal succession. This temporally offset reproduction of the two stereo images results in clearly perceivable image errors. The invention describes a method for compensating such image errors. This is achieved by interpolating the images of one of the channels.

    摘要: A microphone arrangement with improved directional characteristics is provided with at least two microphones (100, 102) and a signal processing arrangement (105). The signal processing arrangement is provided with a first (108) and a second input (109) for receiving the microphone signals of the at least two microphones. The inputs (108,109) are coupled to signal inputs of a first (110) and a second (111) multiplication circuit. The multiplication circuits are provided with control inputs for receiving respective first and second control signals, and with signal outputs. A control signal generator (112) is provided for generating the first and second control signals for the multiplication circuits (110,111). An arrangement (114) for a power corrected summation is provided, having a first and a second input coupled to the outputs of the first and second multiplication circuit, respectively, and having an output. A signal combination circuit (116) is provided with a first input (117) coupled to the output of the power corrected summation arrangement (114), a second input (118) coupled to one of the at least two microphones (102), and an output (119) coupled to the output (120) of the combination circuit (116). The first multiplication circuit (110) is adapted to multiply the signal applied to its input by a multiplication factor A*(1−g)1/2, under the influence of the first control signal. The second multiplication circuit (111) is adapted to multiply the signal applied to its input by a multiplication factor B*g1/2 under the influence of the second control signal. The multiplication factor g is frequency dependent (g[f]), and A and B are constant values, whose absolute values are preferably equal to 1. Further, A=B or A=−B applies. Preferably, the multiplication factor g[f], below a first frequency value, has a smaller value for increasing frequencies. Below a second frequency value that is smaller than the first frequency value, g[f] is a constant value (V), preferably equal to zero. (FIG. 2a) Thereby, a microphone arrangement can be obtained which exhibits a desired directional characteristics over an increased frequency range.
