摘要： A carrying case for hand held product is provided that allows access to the hand held object for use without complete removal of the object. One carrying case includes a bottom, a cover and a door. The bottom includes a cavity for housing an assembled object, such as an e-cigarette. The bottom defines a first opening through which the object may be removed from the cavity having a first dimension that is greater than a largest dimension of the object. The bottom includes a second opening having a second dimension that is greater than a smaller dimension of the object that is smaller than the largest dimension and is smaller than the first dimension of the object. The cover is movable between an open state in which access is provided and a closed state. The door is movable between an open state in which access provided and a closed state.

摘要： A metal lid for a tobacco can is provided. The metal lid includes a circular lid top having a central recess and a shoulder. The shoulder extends radially outwardly from and vertically above the central recess. The side wall is unitarily formed with the shoulder, depends downwardly from the shoulder, and is disposed below the central recess of the lid top. The side wall includes a bead and a hem. The bead extends circumferentially around the side wall. The hem is formed from a distal portion of the side wall folded over onto an intermediate portion of the side wall. The hem functions as a guide, forms a safety edge, and permits the lid to be more easily grasped by a consumer.

摘要： Tamper-resistance is provided in spice container closures and containers through use of tamper-evident and/or tamper-resistant elements. A tamper evident closure includes a base, a cover, and a tamper strip, with the tamper strip being joined to the base and cover by a first hinge connecting the tamper strip to the base and a second hinge connecting the tamper strip to the cover. At least one dispensing port in the base is selectively coverable by a flap of the cover. The tamper strip is adapted to be manually torn away and fully released from the cover and base. The flap is hinged to the cover by a third hinge. In addition, or alternatively, a snap lock connection is formed between a container closure and the container.

摘要： A container having a container lid and container bottom as well as a method of assembling the same is provided. In one aspect, the container lid and container bottom have cooperating locking catch portions that inhibit rotational motion therebetween. In one embodiment, the locking catch portion of the container lid is provided by a segment of a thread thereof. In another aspect, an attachment rib is provided by the container bottom that is interposed between adjacent threads. The attachment rib is used to axially engage a thread of the container lid when axially snapping the container lid to the container bottom. A method of assembling the container lid to the container bottom is provided that includes axially snap engaging the thread of the container lid with the attachment rib of the container bottom.

摘要： A closure formed from a pair of closure halves and methods of forming are provided. In one embodiment a closure having identical closure halves is provided. The first closure half includes a first male hinge portion and a first female hinge portion. The second closure half includes a second male hinge portion and a second female hinge portion. The second male hinge portion interfits with the first female hinge portion and cooperate to form a first hinge arrangement defining a first hinge axis. The second female hinge portion interfits with the first male hinge portion and cooperate to form a second hinge arrangement defining a second hinge axis. The first and second hinge axis are co-axial and the first and second closure halves rotate relative to one another via the first and second hinge arrangements about the first and second hinge axes between open and closed states.

摘要： A container having a paperboard carton and a plastic closure is provided. The carton has a bottom and a sidewall extending upward toward an open end. A plurality of flaps extend from the sidewall at the open end. Each flap joins to the sidewall at a hinge and depends downwardly from the sidewall over an end portion of the sidewall. The closure has a base portion and inner and outers walls depending downward from the base portion. The base portion and inner and outer walls define a channel therebetween. The channel receives the flaps of the carton. At least one of the inner and outer walls defines a shoulder that engages the flaps to secure the carton to the closure.

摘要： The container assembly includes a container and a deformable lid. The container has a wall that extends between a base and an open end and includes a fulcrum. The deformable lid includes a mounting portion, a depressible portion, and a dispensing portion. The deformable lid is mounted on the container to enclose the open end. The mounting portion is joined to the depressible portion at a first hinge and the dispensing portion is joined to the depressible portion at a second hinge. When the depressible portion is depressed toward the base, the first hinge permits the depressible portion to collapse into the container, the second hinge permits the dispensing portion to slide upon the fulcrum, and the fulcrum biases a forward portion of the dispensing portion away from the base such that the forward portion protrudes from the container.
