Abstract: A plastic container comprises a container body having an opening to an interior of the container body; and a lid constructed and arranged for removably coupling to the container body The lid comprises a base portion covering a first region of the opening of the container body; a movable portion covering a second region of the opening of the container body in a closed position and exposing the opening to the interior of the container body in an open position; and a hinge arrangement between the base portion and the movable portion. The movable portion is constructed and arranged to rotate about an axis along which the hinge arrangement extends, and relative to the base portion. The base portion and the movable portion each extends at a predetermined height above the opening of the container body.

Abstract: A pulp molded cup lid includes a lid top portion, a transverse extension portion and a longitudinal extension portion. The transverse extension portion is connected to a lower side of an outer edge of the lid top portion and extends radially outward. The longitudinal extension portion is connected to an outer edge of the transverse extension portion and extends axially downward. The longitudinal extension portion is cylindrical. The pulp molded cup lid further includes an inner convex buckle disposed on an inner wall of the longitudinal extension portion. The inner convex buckle is integrally formed with the longitudinal extension portion. The inner convex buckle protrudes inward relative to the inner wall of the longitudinal extension portion. An outer wall of the longitudinal extension portion defines a rolling groove. The rolling groove is configured to further reduce an inner diameter of the inner convex buckle.

Abstract: A moisture tight container includes a container body and a lid preferably linked to the body by a hinge. The body and lid include at least a first seal and a second seal in series to provide a moisture tight seal between the body and the lid. The first seal includes mating of thermoplastic-to-thermoplastic sealing surfaces of the body and lid respectively. The second seal includes mating of thermoplastic-to-elastomeric sealing surfaces of the body and lid, respectively, or of the lid and body, respectively.

Abstract: A container lid is provided herein having structurally reinforcing ribs therein. The ribs increase the strength of the lid across a central region thereof. Specifically, the lid can have an outer perimeter and the ribs can be spaced inwardly from the outer perimeter. The inwardly spaced ribs can provide a distinct look for consumer differentiation. Additionally, the ribs can be arcuate so that they generally follow a curvature of the outer perimeter of the lid. As such, a label region within the lid central region is preserved, while the lid is still strengthened by the ribs.

Abstract: Provided is a lid having a lid body and multiple ribs. The lid body has an extending portion and a connecting portion connected with the extending portion. The extending portion is formed with an opening at one end distal to the connecting portion. The connecting portion protrudes outwardly along the lid's radial direction, and one end of the connecting portion distal to the extending portion dents inwardly to form an annular containing space. Multiple ribs are formed protruding on where the extending portion is adjacent to the connecting portion. Also provided is a container assembly including the lid and a cup body having a cup rim. With one end of the connecting portion distal to the extending portion continuously denting toward inside of the lid body, the cup rim and the connecting portion can be tightly engaged.
