摘要： A vise includes a vise body having a base with spaced apart rails joined to the base, each rail including a flange with a surface having a slot. A movable jaw assembly is slidable on the surfaces is driven by an actuator supported by the vise. A stationary jaw has a key configured to engage the slots and has a surface facing the movable jaw assembly. Fasteners secure the stationary jaw to the vise body, where all of the fasteners extend through the surfaces of the vise body between the slots and the surface of the stationary jaw facing the movable jaw assembly.

摘要： A five axis vise includes two separated vise body portions that are supported on a machine tool table or other support that fixes the vise body portions in position. The vise body portions have jaws spaced up from the machine tool table sufficiently to permit machining five surfaces of a work piece held in the jaws. A vise screw is rotatably mounted in one of the vise body portions, and extends to the other vise body portion to actuate a movable jaw on the other vise body portion. The vise screw is threaded into a jaw nut that has a drive surface that engages and drives a driven surface on the movable jaw, with the drive and driven surfaces being inclined relative to the axis of force application to provide a downward force component on the movable jaw as it is tightened. The vise screw is an assembly of a threaded shank or shaft and a hub that is rotatably mounted in one of the body portions, with the threaded shank or shaft being locked in position in the hub.

摘要： Two station vise for manual or hydraulic operation with a quick-change stationary that can be carvable, hard or reversible. the stationary jaw having two precision through holes is placed on expanding pins, located on the top longitudinal rails of the vise body, that precisely position and tighten the stationary block in place. Two movable jaws connected by a tubular drive form an axially adjustable floating assembly. A manually turned tubular drive has an external threaded screw to move simultaneously the first jaw/nut and an internal thread that moves the second jaw/nut, on the opposite side of the stationary. Hydraulically parts are clamped at the two stations with a piston located in the second jaw/nut and connected axially with the first jaw/nut by the tubular drive. A setup-block located at the front jaw/nut keeps both jaws at proper position for loading and unloading of parts. The setup-block also allows for pre-clamping or retention of the part in the rear station before clamping.

摘要： A vise has a fixed jaw mounted stationarily relative to a vise body. A movable jaw is supported on side rails that have upper way surfaces. A jaw nut that exerts a downward force on the movable jaw operated to move the movable jaw along the way surfaces. Resilient member is provided between the under side of the movable jaw and at least one of the way surfaces to space the movable jaw slightly from the way surfaces until the movable jaw engages a workpiece, at which time the resilient material compresses and provides a positive hold down force on the workpiece.

摘要： A bolster table device for a punch press includes a reciprocable table positioned upon a support plate and movable along guideways. The support plate and table have inclined confronting planar surfaces which engage each other when the table is in a retracted position whereby the entire impact load exerted by the punch press is transferred to the support plate. The inclined confronting planar surfaces of the table and support plate are spaced from each other when the table is shifted towards and away from the retracted position. The bolster table is reciprocated by a closed hydraulic system which is operated by a driven cam device.
