The carriage (128) further has a push member (292) operatively connected with the lift member (230) to enable engagement of a workpiece (116) with the push member (292) and the lift member (230) to lift at least a portion of the workpiece (116) from the support surface (124) to decrease the factional engagement between the workpiece (116) and the support surface (124).

The clamped end (36) of the feed table (10) is here movable by means of a drive (40), in the direction of extension (45), into its loading and removal position, wherein the bottom edge (25) of the feed table slides from the support surface (27) over the sliding surface (28) and beyond the top side (29) of the lower beam, and the top side (29) forms the support for the bottom side (16) of the feed table (10) in the loading and removal position for a flat material part.

摘要： The present invention provides a metal forming system, comprising a platform and a gantry means, in which the platform is provided with a plurality of lower mold bases bearing sheet metals, while the gantry means is provided with at least one upper mold base and a toggle unit. The gantry means is performing lateral displacement on the platform, so as to be displaced to a location above the lower mold base which is predetermined to operate. The toggle unit is for adjusting the longitudinal position of the upper mold base so as to change the distance between the upper mold base and the lower mold base, resulting in determining whether a mold-closing state or a mold-opening state. A metal forming operation is performed on the sheet metal between the upper mold base and the lower mold base so as to manufacture a metal formed part when the mold-closing state.

摘要： A portable and easily adjustable parts unloader which is usable with different types and sizes of power presses is provided by driving a parts remover tray through a simple cable and sheave arrangement and by mounting the parts remover on top of a telescopic post whose effective length is varied hydraulically so the height of the loader is easily changed for different presses. The post, in turn, is mounted on a wheeled cart so it is easily moved from one press to the other by a single operator. By using a simple pulley, the stroke of the parts remover tray is directly proportional to the stroke of the press ram, but the stroke of the tray can be made greater than and/or faster than the stroke of the ram by using a compound pulley in which the two pulley parts have different effective diameters.

摘要： A jaw assembly is made retractable away from a power press in order to facilitate die change. A main carriage is cammed toward and away from the press dies in synchronism with the operation of the press. Mounted on the main carriage is a subcarriage which is also slidable toward and away from the press relative to the main carriage. The jaw assembly is mounted on the subcarriage. Thus, during die change, the jaw assembly can be held retracted away from the press as by a fluid actuated cylinder acting between the main and subcarriages. The jaw assembly typically comprises a pair of gripping jaws mounted on the piston rod of a fluid actuated cylinder on the subcarriage. When retracted, the jaw assembly does not interfere with the dies being changed.

摘要： A traveling bolster assembly for power presses including two traveling bolsters which are simultaneously reciprocated toward and away from working positions wherein portions of each are aligned beneath the ram of the press such that the ram simultaneously performs working operations on materials loaded on each bolster. The bolsters are located on opposing sides of the ram and are actuated by control means located adjacent the loading stations for each bolster. The controls and loading stations are spaced a sufficient distance from the ram to prevent the operators from reaching under the ram. The failure in operation or malfunction of either bolster prevents further operation of the entire assembly and any press on which it is incorporated.

摘要： A shiftable workpiece transfer apparatus for transferring a workpiece to a press while simultaneously shifting the workpiece centerline. Such a transfer apparatus includes cooperating workpiece transfer tables, the movement of which is directed by respective guide rails. A first workpiece transfer table is directed along a path that is substantially parallel to the centerline of the press line. The second workpiece transfer table is directed along a path that is skewed with respect to the centerline of the press line by an amount sufficient to produce a desired shift of the workpiece centerline. As the second transfer table moves along the skewed guide rail and toward the first transfer table, the workpiece is automatically moved across the surface of the first transfer table to a desired centerline offset point.
