摘要： An improved wrap-around beverage carrier which provides for total separation between adjacent containers in the carrier is provided in the subject invention. In the preferred embodiment the carrier is designed to hold twelve cans of a given product and is designed in a one-piece configuration. The novel partitioning arrangement within the carrier permits total separation to prevent cans from coming in contact with each other during shipping, thereby avoiding abrasion marks on printed aluminum beverage cans. The novel divider structure is hinged from an interior partitioned panel and has a novel configuration of the panel wherein the novel configuration allows the partition to be used for total separation without requiring additional partition structures to be placed within the carrier.

摘要： A one-piece partition has front and back series of hinged panels folded together wherein the panels of each series have alternating short and tall heights. The short panels of one series correspond to the tall panels of the opposite series. The end panels of one series is connected at a scoreline to the end panels of the opposite series while a pair of adjacent panels intermediate the end panels of one series is separated by a cut line from the corresponding pair of adjacent panels of the opposite series so that the pairs of adjacent panels may be folded outward to form wings of the partition.

摘要： An improved transition section for a bag filling device is disclosed for use with a bag filling machine. The device comprises a new and novel transition structure that may be utilized to effectively absorb the energy of the material passing through the filling machine and to effectively control the flow of the material in the transition section so that at least two flow paths are formed within the transition chute throat section with one flow path being utilized for downwardly flow of the material being filled in the bag filling machine and the other flow path being utilized for upwardly flow of dust and air resulting from the filling process. The dual flow paths are formed by a rigid divider member fixedly attached to the control device suspended in the transition chute with the divider member moving in a generally horizontal direction in an arcuate path. The improved structure also comprises means for stopping the movement of the divider member at a predetermined position so that the path utilized for upward air flow always remains open regardless of the position of the divider and the improved structure further comprises means for removing the upwardly flowing air and dust from the transition chute. Also disclosed is a new and novel method of controlling the amount of dust in a transition section of a material packaging line whereby the dust created by the impact of the falling materials can be effectively controlled in the upper portion of the transition chute where it can be readily removed.

摘要： A new and novel tray for storing and reheating frozen food. The base portion of the tray is formed in a one-piece construction having spaced apart hollow side walls and double thickness end walls both side and end walls being adhesively secured to the underside of the tray. Corner web-like folds positioned between inner panels of the side and end walls are held in place by securing flaps on the outer panels and are secured to the tray. The folding of the side walls and end walls in combination with the corner web-like folds makes the interior portion of the tray leakproof. A separate one-piece lid may be adhesively secured to the top of the hollow side walls and to the sides of the end walls to enclose the tray and make a completely leakproof package. In the preferred embodiment the tray and lid of the package are formed generally of paperboard and may be coated with desirable coatings. The package may also be formed with foil laminations on one or both sides thereof.

摘要： An improved combination shipping pallet/container for use in conjunction with either a forklift truck or a jack truck and which comprises an outer structure having a plurality of fork receiving openings contained in the lower portion thereof. An inner pallet structure is placed within the outer structure and is retained within the outer structure by retaining means such as staples, glue, or turned in hinged flaps. On top of the inner pallet structure is positioned an inner container structure which, in the preferred embodiment, may be removable from the outer structure. The inner container structure may also be locked to the outer structure by a variety of locking means to thereby provide a much improved combined shipping pallet/container over the prior art.
