    摘要: A control surface disconnect detection system includes a mechanical disconnect detection device that includes: a first contact element; a second contact element; and a mechanical fuse that includes a conduction path. In a normal operational state the conduction path creates an electrical pathway between the first contact element and second contact element and when in a control surface disconnected state the conduction path does not create an electrical pathway between the first contact element and the second contact element. The system also includes a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag connected to the first contact element and the second contact element such that when the mechanical disconnect detection device is in the normal operation state the RFID tag does not transmit information, and when the mechanical disconnect detection device is in the control surface disconnected state the RFID tag does transmit information.

    摘要: A controller for an inline valve includes a manifold seating a set screw and has a reference fluid port, a control fluid port, and an actuator fluid port. A selector is movable within the manifold between a first position and a second position, the reference fluid port in fluid communication with the actuator fluid port in the first position, the control fluid port in fluid communication with the actuator fluid port in the second position. A biasing member is arranged between the selector and the set screw and urges the selector towards the first position. The set screw extends through an exterior of the manifold for adjustment of differential in pressures at the reference fluid port and the control fluid port responsive to which the selector moves between the first position and the second position. Inline valves and methods of controlling fluid flow through inline valves are also described.

The differential current sensor measuring a differential current flowing through the first winding and the second winding and operable to transmit a signal indicative of the differential current based on the measuring. The system also includes a motor controller connected to the electric motor, the motor controller operable to direct the combined phase current through the phase lead, receive the differential current signal, determine if the differential current flowing through the winding set exceeds a selected threshold, and identify a health status of the motor winding set as degraded if the differential current exceeds the selected threshold.

The air turbine starter comprising: a turbine wheel including a hub integrally attached to a turbine rotor shaft and a plurality of turbine blades extending radially outward from the hub; an inlet housing at least partially surrounding the turbine wheel; a nozzle located upstream from the turbine wheel and contained within the inlet housing defining an inlet flowpath between the nozzle and the inlet housing, the inlet flowpath directs air flow into the turbine blades; and a plurality of turbine vanes rotatably connected to the nozzle, each turbine vane extending radially from the nozzle into the inlet flowpath towards the inlet housing; wherein the plurality of turbine vanes are operable to adjust air flow through the inlet flowpath by rotating each turbine vane.
