摘要: A flux composition for ceramic color, containing no harmful heavy metal such as lead, cadmium, chromium, etc. is provided.The flux composition consists mainly of 30 to 45% of SiO.sub.2, 0 to 5% of TiO.sub.2, 4 to 10% of ZrO.sub.2, 13 to 18% of B.sub.2 O.sub.3, 18 to 23% of ZnO, 0 to 3% of CaO, 12 to 15% of the total of two or three kinds of R.sub.2 O selected from Na.sub.2 O, K.sub.2 O and Li.sub.2 O, 4 to 10% of fluorine and 0 to 5% of tin oxide (% being all by weight).The composition uses no lead which has been indispensable for lower melting glasses, and exhibits superior performances difficult to afford according to conventional lower melting lead-free fluxes.

摘要: A semisubmersible water surface navigation ship with even draft comprising at least two lower hulls, which can be submerged under water to reduce resistance and have a shape affording low friction resistance, and which are equipped with lifting and diving planes, at the bow and stern parts, and an upper hull above the water surface being connected to the lower hulls by way of water breakers. In order to keep an even draft or trim during navigation, the lifting/diving force capacity of the lifting and diving planes is designed to be greater than the buoyancy change of the water breakers owing to loads such as waves and wind. Steering rudders, propellers and water ballast tanks are installed in order to cause the ship to navigate or lie to under any one of a shallow draft state, a semisubmerged state and a deep submerged state. The upper hull is provided with superstructures with sufficient reserve buoyancy for maintaining the stability of the ship under the deep submerged state. Barges carrying cargoes can be mounted on or dismounted from the upper hull in the deep submerged state, and thus they can be loaded and unloaded in an integrated manner.

摘要: A gas sensor is described which includes a layer of a sensitive material formed on an electric insulating substrate and spaced electrodes electrically connected to the layer. The layer is formed of a porous film of a uniform mixture which contains a p-type compound oxide semiconductor with a perovskite type of crystal structure as the major ingredient and one or more of vanadium, niobium, tantalum and/or compounds thereof as minor ingredients. The minor ingredients are contained in the layer in an amount of 0.01 to 5% by weight, based on the weight of the p-type compound oxide semiconductor, and are incorporated into the layer by diffusing them into the layer. The gas sensor exhibits a small change with time and a reduced tailing effect attendant on variations in the gas combustion. With this, it is possible to effect measurements, detection and control with a high reliability.

摘要: An oscillationless semisubmerged high-speed vessel comprises at least one lower hull submerged below the water surface in the cruising state of the vessel, an upper hull above the water surface and struts connecting the lower hull and an upper hull. The lower hull possesses horizontal fins controlling longitudinal and transverse oscillations of the vessel, steering devices, water ballast tanks for adjusting water line of the vessel and propelling means. The struts are so designed that the water plane area is small so as to minimize the oscillation force, i.e. the vessel does not have a self-stabilizing ability both longitudinally and transversely with only reverse buoyancy kept by the struts when the vessel heels. The struts are constructed to have a sufficient strength for connection of the lower hull and an upper hill. The bulged structures are constructed to contain the propelling means. The struts and the bulged structures are disposed in a midship part of the lower hull to minimize longitudinal oscillations of the vessel due to the wave heaving forces which are vertical components of wave exciting forces generated at both fore and aft parts of the vessel. Steering devices are disposed at a fore part of the lower hull to prevent the vessel from transverse oscillations at an initial stage of healing. Therefore the vessel of this invention can eliminate the oscillations longitudinally and transversely. Thus the vessel of this invention can be an oscillationless high speed vessel which navigates for a long time without causing large accelerative oscillations due to waves on the sea surface.

摘要: A thermoplastic elastomer composition and process comprising a crystalline polyolefin, halogenated butyl rubber, olefin copolymer rubber, polyolefin modified with, e.g., maleic anhydride, and, optionally nitrile rubber, wherein the halogenated butyl rubber is at least partially crosslinked using a metal oxide and/or chloride, e.g., zinc oxide. Crosslinking is achieved under dynamic mixing conditions and the resulting composition has superior strength, performance and processing properties. Furthermore, use of nitrile rubber imparts improved oil resistance to the composition.
