    摘要: A sealing device configured to be mounted on a rolling bearing provided for a wheel bearing device, the wheel bearing device including an axle pipe and a rolling bearing being fitted onto an outer circumferential stepped portion formed on an outer circumference of the axle pipe to rotatably support a wheel, the sealing device being mounted between an outer ring and an inner ring. The sealing device includes a slinger member having a first cylindrical portion, a disk portion, and a second cylindrical portion; a core body member having a cylindrical portion and a disk portion; and a seal body made of an elastic material. An inner circumferential face of a seal body cylindrical portion has an inclined portion constituting a labyrinth of which diameter gradually increases toward one side from the other side in the axial direction between the inner circumferential face and the second cylindrical portion.

    摘要: A magnetization method and a magnetization apparatus for forming an objective magnetized state in a one-dimensional region of a magnetic body, and a magnet for a magnetic encoder. In the magnetization method, magnetism in one direction is applied to an entire half wavelength interval of a sine wave on the magnetic body by a magnetizing yoke and a magnetized state of a first-order rectangle wave or of a first-order trapezoidal wave is formed in the interval, the magnetized state presenting polarity information in a rectangle or trapezoidal pulse shape; and thereafter, magnetism in opposite direction is applied to a start point and a terminal point of the interval by the same magnetizing yoke or a different magnetizing yoke one time or several times and the magnetized state of the first-order rectangle wave or of the first-order trapezoidal wave is changed into the objective magnetized state.

    摘要: Provided is a spacer configured such that a protruding portion remaining after removal of a portion unnecessary after molding does not contact an inner wall of a coolant water flow path and therefore, even a portion of the spacer in the vicinity of the remaining portion can be positioned close to the cylinder bore side inner wall. The spacer of this embodiment is a spacer (4) formed of a resin molded body and inserted, in use, into a coolant water flow path (3) through an opening (30) of the coolant water flow path (3) that is formed around a plurality of cylinder bores (2) formed adjacent to each other in a cylinder block (1) of an internal combustion engine. The spacer (4) includes a spacer body (40) formed in a cylindrical shape to surround the cylinder bores (2), and a protruding remaining portion (5) remaining after removal of a portion (6ba) necessary in molding and unnecessary after molding. The remaining portion (5) is formed at an end surface (44a) positioned on a side close to the opening (30) of the spacer body (40).

    摘要: A fuel injection valve is mounted in a cylinder head by being inserted in an insertion hole provided in the cylinder head. A shoulder section is provided at the inlet portion of the insertion hole to be expanded in an annular shape. The fuel injection valve is provided with a stepped section expanded in diameter in a tapered manner to have a tapered surface facing the shoulder section. A vibration insulator is disposed between the stepped section and the shoulder section. The vibration insulator is provided with a circular annular tolerance ring making contact with the tapered surface of the fuel injection valve. A circular annular sleeve section coaxial with the tolerance ring is integrally formed on the tolerance ring to extend from the surface of a portion of the tolerance ring, the portion not facing the tapered surface of the fuel injection valve.

    摘要: A vibration insulator which can compensate for axial eccentricity occurring in a fuel injection valve and suppress vibrations of the valve during operation of a combustion engine and a support structure for the valve. The vibration insulator is interposed between a step height portion of the valve and a shoulder portion. The step height portion is increased in diameter in a tapered fashion and inserted into an insertion hole of a cylinder head. The shoulder portion is annularly extended in an inlet portion of the insertion hole opposed to the step height portion. The vibration insulator includes an annular tolerance ring on an inner circumferential inclined face thereof with recessed tapered faces opposed to the tapered face of the step height portion and which abuts the tapered face. The taper angles of the tolerance ring and of the step height portion are set so as to be different.
