摘要: A removal tool configured for removing an insertable engine component from an engine assembly. In the removal tool may include a coupling device, a drive member, and a lifting member attached to a main shaft. The coupling device is mounted onto a retainer securing an engine component, and the lifting member is positioned against the underside of a flange of the engine component. A rotational force applied against the drive member is transferred to the coupling device and causes the retainer to be unscrewed. As the retainer is unscrewed, this causes a lifting force from the retainer pushing against the coupling device, which causes the lifting member to be pushed upward, and further causing the engine component to be pushed upward and away from the engine assembly. This facilitates removal of the engine component concurrently with the removal of the retainer (e.g., in a single operation).

摘要: The disclosure relates to a fuel injection and combustion system in an internal combustion engine, comprising: a main injector comprising at least one main injector outlet configurable to direct a volume of fuel therethrough; a side injector comprising a side injector outlet configurable to direct a volume of fuel therethrough and in a direction towards the main injector; a glow plug positioned between the main injector and the side injector outlet and configurable to provide an increase in temperature so as to ignite a volume of fuel from the side injector outlet and subsequently a volume of fuel from the at least one main injector outlet. The disclosure further relates to a method for injecting and combusting fuel in an internal combustion engine.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection system capable of suppressing an occurrence of distortion in an injector during assembly of components. A fuel injection system (3) includes: a bracket (5) which is fixed to a cylinder head (21) of an engine (2); a fuel accumulator (6) which is supported by and fixed to the bracket (5) and which accumulates pressure of fuel supplied from a fuel pump; and an injector (7) which is directly connected to the fuel accumulator (6) and mounted to the cylinder head (21) and which injects the fuel, supplied from the fuel accumulator (6), into a combustion chamber. At least one of the fuel accumulator (6) and the bracket (5) has guide members (64, 513) which guide the injector (7) to a mount position on the cylinder head (21).

摘要: Provided is an electronic fuel injection type diesel engine capable of performing precise electronic fuel injection control. A fuel injector includes a main body portion having a large diameter, a nozzle portion having a small diameter, and a pressing surface formed at a step portion between the main body portion and the nozzle portion, in which the nozzle portion of the fuel injector is inserted from an inside of a sleeve into an inside of an insertion hole, the fuel injector is pressed toward a vortex chamber by a pressing force, and the pressing force applied to the fuel injector is received by a pressure receiving surface of the sleeve from the pressing surface of the fuel injector via the washer.

摘要: An opposed-piston engine includes: a cylinder; a one-side piston disposed inside the cylinder on one side in an axial direction; and an other-side piston disposed inside the cylinder on another side in the axial direction. Atop surface of the one-side piston has a one-side cavity recessed in a central portion. A top surface of the other-side piston has an other-side cavity recessed in a central portion. An outer peripheral edge of the one-side cavity is at least 0.1D1 away from an outer peripheral edge of the top surface of the one-side piston over the entire circumference, where D1 is a diameter of the top surface of the one-side piston. An outer peripheral edge of the other-side cavity is at least 0.1D2 away from an outer peripheral edge of the top surface of the other-side piston over the entire circumference, where D2 is a diameter of the top surface of the other-side piston.
