    摘要: The present invention provides a magnet unit and a position detection device that are excellent in thermal shock resistance without the risk of being damaged due to a temperature change and that are capable of detecting a position with high accuracy. A magnet unit comprises: a magnet that moves in a linear or rotating manner relative to a magnetic detection element (magnetic detection section) for detecting a change in a magnetic field; and a magnet holding member that moves in a linear or rotating manner while being fixed to an object L to be detected and that holds the magnet attached thereto. The magnet holding member has a fixed part that is fixed to the object L to be detected and a magnet housing part to which the magnet is attached. The magnet housing part has openings where opposite end surface portions of the magnet are exposed.

The cover detection system may include a wireless controller in communication with the sensor, the wireless controller configured to receive information from the sensor indicative of the position, wherein the wireless controller is further configured to provide an indication to a user of whether the position is in a first state, or a second state based at least in part on the information received from the sensor.

    摘要: A door handle assembly for a motor vehicle door includes a handle base to be secured to the door, a grip cover coupled to the handle base, an inductive proximity sensor, configured to produce an sensor signal, mounted to the grip cover opposite a portion of an outer surface of the grip cover defining a detection surface thereon, and an electrically conductive layer disposed on an inner surface of the grip cover, opposite the detection surface, and spaced apart from the inductive proximity sensor, the inductive proximity sensor producing a detectable change in the sensor signal upon detection of a deflection of the portion of the grip cover defining the detection surface sufficient to move the electrically conductive layer to within a detection proximity of the inductive proximity sensor, the detectable change in the sensor signal enabling the door handle to lock or unlock.

In some embodiments, a position sensing system may include a waveguide configured to receive and transmit a pulse, and a magnet moveable relative to the waveguide.
