Abstract: An optical arrangement converts a laser beam into a line-type beam having a line-type beam cross-section that extends along a line direction with a non-vanishing intensity. The arrangement has: reshaping optics having: an input aperture through which the laser beam is radiated in; and an elongate output aperture, the reshaping optics being configured such that the laser beam radiated in is converted into a beam packet with beam segments that emerge through the output aperture; homogenization optics, which contribute to the conversion of the beam packet into the line-type output beam, and by which different beam segments are mixed and superposed along the line direction; and redirection optics configured to redirect the laser beam such that an incidence position/direction of laser beam on the input aperture is changed in dependence on time.

Abstract: A laser arrangement for time-of-flight measurements includes an optical filter adjacent to a laser. The laser and optical filter each have a substrate and an active layer arranged between a first and second mirror. The laser emits laser light in a first direction through its first mirror. The optical filter receives the laser light reflected from an object through its first mirror. The laser's and the optical filter's first mirrors have an equal reflectivity. The laser's and the optical filter's second mirrors have an equal reflectivity, or the reflectivity of the optical filter's second mirror is reduced with respect to that of the laser. The optical filter filters the received light such that laser light reflected from the object and received from the first direction passes the optical filter.

Abstract: An electric powertrain for a machine includes an electric power source. The powertrain further includes an implement pump for powering a work implement and an implement pump electric motor. An electric traction motor is operably coupled to a traction device. An electronic controller stores a plurality of rimpull torque curves. The electronic controller is configured to determine if the electric power source is in a power limited condition and upon determining that the electric power source is in a power limited condition act to derate a rimpull torque of the traction device from a first rimpull torque curve of the plurality of rimpull torque curves to a lower second rimpull torque curve of the plurality of rimpull torque curves, wherein the selection of the second rimpull torque curve is based on a power usage by the implement pump electric motor.
