Embodiments of the invention may also be configured to monitor and report temperature faults, power failures and other anomalies associated with the refrigerator or cold storage compartment.

The flow condition data, which may include data representing the flow rate, pressure, volume and velocity of blood flowing through the vessels, is stored in a memory and transmitted to a health care provider or technician on demand. The data can be used to calculate and monitor important physiological parameters, such as compliance and resistance, for the blood vessels, and help detect and identify dangerous conditions, such as turbulence and stasis, which can contribute to AV shunt failure, vessel injury and other serious complications for the patient.

The adaptive control system determines a plan identifying a guaranteed green light time and a minimum green duration and a period for the plan. Queues for individual traffic movements at the critical intersection also may be used to determine the non-linear schedule. The adaptive control system controls the traffic signal according to the non-linear schedule. The adaptive control system transmits its plan to one or more other adaptive control systems for other intersections. The other adaptive control systems determine other plans based on the plan from the adaptive control system and an expected travel time between the critical intersection and the corresponding intersection.

The wrist tracker and net tracker automatically detect shot-attempt and made-shot events, respectively, and asynchronously transmit messages to the shot-tracking mobile application reporting these events. The shot-tracking mobile application, which runs on a mobile device, such as a smart phone or tablet computer, includes program instructions that, when executed by the CPU of the wireless mobile device, causes the wireless mobile device to automatically receive and process the asynchronous event data sent by the wrist tracker and net tracker, and to automatically tabulate, store and/or display the basketball player's shooting statistics (such as total shots taken, total shots made, shooting percentage, shot locations, and the like).
