Abstract: An alignment device for a ducted fuel injection system comprising a mounting block removably attachable to a duct of the ducted fuel injection system. The mounting block can include a passageway extending therethrough. The passageway can align with the duct when the mounting block is attached to the duct. The alignment device further comprises an imaging device configured to capture an image viewing through the duct toward an outlet of a fuel injector. A portion of the imaging device can extend in the passageway. The alignment device additionally comprises a centering structure configured to align a portion of the imaging device with a central axis of the duct. The image captured by the imaging device can be configured for use aligning a position of an outlet of a fuel injector with respect to a position of the duct.

Abstract: A graphical user interface (GUI) for an automation application is described herein. The automation applications present the GUI on a display. The GUI displays a directed graph representing a macro for a target application. The directed graph comprises nodes and directed edges connecting the nodes. Each node in the node in the nodes is assigned to an input received by the target application during recording of the macro. Each directed edge is assigned criteria that are to be satisfied in order to traverse each directed edge. Responsive to receiving a modification to the directed graph, the automation application displays a modified directed graph based upon the modification. The automation application generates a modified macro based upon the modified directed graph.

Abstract: A computing system that can receive an object search request from a user indicating a request to search for a specific object in an area traversed by one or more autonomous vehicle. The object search request can include a set of physical characteristics of the specific object. The computing system can then transmit a signal to an autonomous vehicle indicating a request for the autonomous vehicle to search for the specific object. The signal can cause the autonomous vehicle to transmit an image, selected based on a physical characteristic of the object, to the computing system. The computing system can then generate a score indicative of a difference between one or more physical characteristic of the object in the image and the specific object. The computing system can then selectively transmit the image to a mobile device operated by the user based on the score.

Abstract: A laminate comprising a first ply, a second ply, and a third ply which sandwiching the second ply between the first ply and the third ply. The laminate includes a second plurality of interfacial modifiers arranged between opposing faces of the second ply and the third ply such that the first plurality of interfacial modifiers and the second plurality of interfacial modifiers are arranged on opposite faces of the second ply. The second plurality of interfacial modifiers are arranged in a second pattern. The first pattern and the second pattern are configured to increase crack growth resistance of the laminate by selectively toughening portions of the laminate to control propagation of interfacial cracks within the laminate.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing a preload to mated pipes including a ring-shaped body formed by a sidewall and an attachment structure on a portion of the body. The ring-shaped body includes an aperture that extends through the sidewall. The attachment structure corresponds to an attachment portion of a pipe in the mated pipes and the attachment structure enables removable fastening of the body to the pipe. The apparatus may further include an adjustable preload mechanism that can be removably attached to the body to hold the body in a preloaded position. The preload mechanism can be adjusted to release a portion of the preload held by the body.
