摘要： The present invention provides a safety training device capable of being attached to an existing front-wheeled walker. The safety training device a modified ski unit, a braking mechanism, a brake cable and hose. When improper transfer techniques are utilized by a patient, the modified ski unit engages the brake and cable hose to exert a force to the braking mechanism. The braking mechanism activates a braking member on the wheel of the walker, halting further movement of the patient and walker. Simultaneously, a striking member of the braking mechanism makes contact with the frame of the walker, producing an audible cue, alerting the patient and any healthcare professionals present that improper technique is being used in a transfer.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide a method for delivering a supply of one or more deicing and anti-icing agents for localized seasonal storage and application at a facility. In advance of a winter season, a deicing agent or anti-icing agent according to embodiments of the present invention may be provided by a provider to a receiver in a delivery quantity for storage at a localized storage location at a facility. A deicing agent may be a salt compound treated with an additive which reduces bridging of salt granules. The provider may provide multiple storage containers each filled with a delivery quantity of anti-icing agent and may provide multiple storage containers each filled with a delivery quantity of deicing agent to a receiver, as well as one or more delivery stations. After receipt of an initial quantity of a deicing agent or anti-icing agent, the receiver may deploy a delivery station and set up a storage container with the delivery station. The receiver may move a sprayer unit or a spreader unit to the delivery station for filling. Upon depletion of some or all of the contents of an anti-icing container or the contents of a deicing container, the receiver may contact the provider to request that the provider replenish the anti-icing agent or the deicing agent.

摘要： A pivot assembly that can be inserted into kitchen cabinets to utilize otherwise unused and unreachable overhead spaces over kitchen wall cabinets. The pivot assembly has a pair of pivot arms pivotally connected to opposite sides of a frame, the frame slidably attached within a cabinet. A drawer is connected to the pivot assembly between the pivot arms. The drawer slides out of the cabinet on a pair of drawer slides and rotates down and out 180 degrees on the pivot arms, from an up position to a down position, wherein the drawer remains stable even as the pivot arms pass through a middle position. The pivot arms form a primary and secondary parallelogram shape during operation, the secondary parallelogram supporting the primary parallelogram at its weakest point in the middle position.

摘要： The invention presents a covered cavity kiln pyrolyzer with modulated means of rotation, to promote mixing and exposure of the biomass to heat, thereby allowing complete and efficient pyrolysis of biomass therein. The invention has a portal arrangement for simultaneous entry of fuel and air alongside the exit of emissions and flames to a separate hood structure. In addition to rotational modulation for mixing, the rotational capabilities of the kiln also permit the removal of processed charcoal when the portal is turned downward. The invention also has a system of internal prongs for mixing and sifting removal of char, as well as automated fuel delivery mechanisms and a system of openings to allow insertion of pipes and sensors into the kiln for monitoring and for additional delivery of reagents for better modulation and efficiency by a user during the pyrolyzation process.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a toy deformable to several structural configurations. The toy includes two endcaps connected by a plurality of pliable ribs. The toy may be deformed into a low-profile configuration by pressing the endcaps together, the ribs bending outward to accommodate the deformation. The toy may be deformed into a high-profile configuration by squeezing the ribs together, the endcaps being pushed apart to accommodate the deformation. While pressure is not applied to the toy, the toy may enter a non-deformed configuration wherein the ribs and the toy as a whole take on a substantially spherical form. A retention device may also be utilized to confine the toy to a specific configuration.
