    摘要: A lifting device includes a base part, a connecting part, and at least one shackle drop brake. The base part attaches to an object, such as a loading platform or a load. The connecting part serves to attach a sling, lifting, lashing or tensioning means and is pivotable about a swivel axis relative to the base part. The base part also has a bearing surface which defines an assembly plane. The shackle drop brake acts between the base part and the connecting part. The shackle drop brake has at least one holding point configured to hold a weight of the connecting part when the connecting part is in a swivel position that is angled with respect to a vertical axis extending from the assembly plane.

    摘要: A lifting device is provided, the lifting device providing a cable and a powered winch which winds and unwinds the cable. Each end of the cable provides a slack-adjustable point of attachment to a load. The points of attachment may each be attached to an opposing end of a load, such that each point of attachment provides a counterweight to the other point of attachment. Slack between the points of attachment may be tensed by a bridging connector. The lifting device may lift a load by two lateral points of attachment such that the load may be elevated off a floor with minimal vertical clearance, and may be laterally actuated by casters hanging on a suspended rail.

    摘要: A device and method for lifting cylindrical structures using an overhead crane. The device comprises a lift cap with a lift tab that is the single-point of connection to the crane. The lift cap has a plurality of slots around its perimeter. A plurality of spreader straps are connected to the lift cap at the slots with shackles that permit the straps to slide a limited distance in the slots. The spreader straps hang down from the lift cap and connect it to a lift ring that hangs below the lift cap. The lift ring is comprised of a series of connected spreader bars and is about the same diameter as the grain bin. Slings attached to the spreader bars hang below the lift ring. The loose end of each sling is removably attached to the cylindrical structure.

    摘要: A transport device for securing elongated items during transport and storage has the new feature that the set of profiled beams includes at least three profiled beams, namely a first, a second and a third profiled beam, the profiled beams being built upon each other layer by layer and connected to each other in respective layers. Each layer of pipes or items is surrounded by two profiled beams which are fixed to each other by a joining arrangement. Thus, each layer is individually fixed, and only the uppermost layer in a packet of longitudinal items is loose during packing and unpacking. Advantageously, the profiled beams are removed one by one from the top of a packet with the longitudinal items, and the weight of the single parts handled never becomes greater than the weight of one profiled beam with joining arrangement.
