摘要: A cable mount for fixing a strength member of a fiber optic cable to a fixture includes a front end, a rear end, and a longitudinal channel therebetween, the channel defined by upper and lower transverse walls and a vertical divider wall. The channel receives a portion of the cable. A strength member pocket receives the strength member of the cable, the pocket located on an opposite side of the divider wall from the longitudinal channel, the pocket communicating with the longitudinal channel through an opening on the divider wall. A strength member clamp fixes the strength member of the cable against axial pull. Cable management structures in the form of spools define at least one notch that communicates with the longitudinal channel for guiding optical fibers extending from a jacket either upwardly or downwardly therethrough. The cable mount also allows routing of the optical fibers through the longitudinal channel all the way from the rear end to the front end.

摘要: An extendable telecommunications patch panel (10) is disclosed. In one aspect, the patch panel can include a plurality of interconnectable connection parts (100) for holding telecommunications connectors (12), such as adapters. Each connection part (100) may be provided with features that allow the connection parts (100) to be interlocked with each other to form the extendable patch panel (10). In one aspect, a first connection feature (122) can be located on a connection part first side (102) and a second connection feature (124) can be located on a connection part second side (104). The first connection feature (122) can be configured to interlock with the second connection feature (124) of an adjacent connection part (100). The connection part (100) may also be provided with an adapter (150) that allows the connection parts (100) to be connected in a staggered formation to result in a staggered patch panel (10).

摘要: Example wall outlets include a base; a spool arrangement that mounts to the base; and a cable wound around the spool arrangement at the drum region. The base includes a mounting wall and a sidewall. The base defines a port and defines a first annular perimeter. The spool arrangement is rotatable relative to the base. The spool arrangement includes a drum region, a management region, and an aperture extending between the drum region and the management region. The drum region is enclosed by the sidewall of the base and the management region extends outwardly beyond the base. The cable has a first end extending through the aperture and terminated at a first fiber optic ferrule held at the management region. The cable also has a second end that extends through the port defined in the base and is terminated at a second fiber optic ferrule disposed external of the base.

摘要: A fiber optic termination assembly (10) includes a chassis (12) which holds a plurality of pivotally mounted trays (14) in a stacked array. The trays (14) and chassis (12) allow selective access to each tray (14) as desired by pivoting a selected tray (12) relative to the chassis (12). The tray (14) includes a base part (40) and a detachable part (42). The base part (40) remains with the chassis (12), and the detachable part (42) is separable from the base part (40). The base part (40) cooperates with the detachable part (42) to form a cable storage area (74) for storing one or more loops of fiber optic cables. The detachable part (42) includes a termination panel (110) for holding a plurality of adapters (112) wherein the adapters allow for mating of two connectors (114) for fiber optic signal transmission. The detachable part (42) may also include a cable storage area and/or a cable splice area.
