摘要： An apparatus and method is disclosed for digitally reproducing images on photographic film. A main scanning element scans at least one image of the film during a main scanning operation and produces main scanning values from which at least one film-specific characteristic value can be obtained. Image processing means are provided for modifying the main scanning values on the basis of the film-specific characteristic values determined, at least one part of said main scanning values comprising main scanning values of at least two individual images.

摘要： A method of producing a pixel-based image on an image carrier (7), where a plurality of pixels are generated simultaneously by an array of pixel-generating elements, has the following steps: producing on the image carrier a first partial image composed of first pixels, wherein each of the pixel-generating elements is assigned to produce one of the first pixels, and wherein the first pixels are spaced apart from each other, and producing on the image carrier at least one further partial image composed of further pixels in such a manner that the further pixels fall into the spaces between the first pixels, but none of the further pixels is generated by a pixel-generating element that has produced one of the adjacent first pixels.

The offsetting device has two optical elements arranged in sequence in the light path of the projection. The projected partial images are offset relative to each other by tilting one or both of the optical elements.

A projected image of the physical representation is produced by an optical projection device (4) which includes an offsetting device (7, 38, 39, 38a, 39a, 38c, 39c) for laterally offsetting the projected image in the image plane of the apparatus. The offsetting device is controlled by a controller means in a manner that is dependent on the exposure color of the monochrome partial image currently being produced by the image generator.
