    摘要: An optical recording medium wherein the percentage change (|[a2−a1]/a1|×100) of the recording layer thickness (a2) at the recorded site of recording layer (A) after recorded with laser light compared with the recording layer thickness (a1) at unrecorded site of said recording layer (A) is less than 25% and the amount of change (|a2−a1|) of the recording layer thickness (a2) at recorded site of said recording layer (A) after recorded with laser light compared with the recording layer thickness (a1) at unrecorded site of said recording layer (A) is controlled to be less than 15 nm. The optical recording medium can enable recording and playback with high quality using laser of 300 nm to 900 nm. Also provided is a compound comprising a six-membered ring structure composed of four carbon atoms and two nitrogen atoms and a bonded substituted or unsubstituted amino group.

    摘要: A rewritable optical information recording medium including a recording layer composed of an organic dye film is provided, in which recording and erasing information can be performed reversibly by laser light irradiation. A rewritable optical information recording medium including at least one organic dye film which is substantially made of only at least one kind of organic dye compounds as a recording film is provided. The recording and erasure of information are performed by a reversible physical change of the organic dye film substance caused by laser light irradiation. Specifically, data recording is performed by a physical change locally caused by the irradiation of recording laser light, data reproduction is performed by detecting change in intensity of returned light of reproducing laser light having less power than the recording laser light, and data erasure is performed by applying at least once continuous light or pulse light having laser power more than the reproducing laser light and less than the recording laser light. The physical change is a change in shape.

    摘要: Quinoline compound, zinc halogenide complex and zinc complex suited for use in an electro-luminescence (EL) element, a fluorescent material and an ultraviolet absorption material, and a preparation process for these compounds are described. These compounds and a tautomer of the same has a strong luminescent intensity and is used for an EL material, the compound of zinc halogenide complex and zinc complex and a tautomer of the same has absorption at a wave length of 400 nm or less and is used for an ultraviolet absorption material, and further the quinoline compound and a tautomer has a strong luminescent intensity and is used for a fluorescent material. The zinc halogenide complex and zinc complex can be prepared by related preparation processes directly from a quinoline derivative and a phthalimide derivative, or by way of the quinoline compound which is obtained from these derivatives.
