摘要: One example includes a Josephson analog-to-digital converter (ADC) system. The system includes a control line inductively coupled to an input signal line on which an input analog signal is provided. The input signal line can be inductively coupled to the control line to propagate an induced input current that is based on the input analog signal on the control line. The system also includes at least one Josephson transmission line (JTL) stage that is biased via a DC bias current and is configured to generate an output pulse in response to the induced input current and the DC bias current exceeding a predetermined threshold current associated with the at least one JTL stage.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for linking two components in a superconducting circuit. A plurality of circuit elements, each comprising one of an inductor, a capacitor, and a Josephson junction, are connected in series on a path connecting the two components. A plurality of tunable oscillators are connected from the path connecting the two components. Each tunable oscillator is responsive to a control signal to tune an associated resonance frequency of the tunable oscillator within a first frequency range, within which the two components are coupled, and within a second frequency range, within which the two components are isolated.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for resetting a qubit comprising a superconducting loop and a compound Josephson junction. A first bias flux is provided to the superconducting loop. A second bias flux is provided to the compound Josephson junction. Each of the first bias flux and the second bias flux are provided such that a given excited state of the qubit is near a top of a potential barrier associated with a potential of the qubit. A continuous microwave signal is generated having a frequency equal to a transition frequency between an other excited state of the qubit and the given excited state.
