摘要: A method for enabling an extrusion-based AM 3D printing system to handle individual 3D parts of a print job having at least two 3D parts. The method includes slicing the print job to generate a set of slices for the digital 3D representations of the 3D parts. Each slice having geometrical data defining boundaries of a layer of AM feedstock material for printing each 3D part taking into account said boundaries. Generating for each 3D part an individual set of geometrical data taking into account said geometrical data, wherein each individual set of geometrical data includes geometrical data defining the boundaries of the layers of AM feedstock material that are to be taken into account for printing the respective 3D part. An AM 3D printing system that is adapted to perform said method.

摘要: Method and system arranged for obtaining an electronic 3D model of a 3D object to be fabricated. The method further including generating control instructions based on the electronic 3D model and process parameters of the fabrication process, determining a mesh model representing the electronic 3D model, the mesh model including elements each having at least one property that is affectable by at least one of the process parameters, and performing simulation of the fabrication process in time using the control instructions, the mesh model and the process parameters. The simulation includes establishing a deviation of the at least one property relative to a reference thereof for each element of the mesh model, wherein the deviation is induced by at least one of the process parameters, and establishing an adaptation for the at least one property of each element of the mesh model to compensate for the deviation. The adaptation is applied to the process of generating control instructions to obtain at least one adapted control instruction.

摘要: In a method for manufacturing a three dimensional object by extrusion based modelling, tracks of modelling material are deposited in slices by a printhead connected to a three dimensional positioning system. In each slice a plurality of first tracks of three-dimensional modelling material is deposited by the printhead under a first pressure, wherein the first tracks are spaced apart so as to leave a gap between them. A second track of three-dimensional modelling material is deposited by the printhead in each of the gaps between the deposited first tracks under a second pressure, which is higher than the first pressure, such that the gaps are filled entirely. A monolithic body is formed by depositing the modelling material slice by slice. In at least a body portion of the monolithic body a pattern of first tracks and second tracks is deposited, in which the number of tracks that is deposited is increased within at least a section of the slices by depositing at least one additional first track and at least one additional second track.
