摘要: A firearm single-shot bolt catch assembly and method of operation. The automatic firearm single-shot bolt catch assembly uses a tensioned spring that operates with a bolt catch. The tension from the spring works to pivotally articulate a plate in the bolt catch to a catch position, which restricts the recoiling bolt carrier group in linear path of the firearm. The tension from the spring presses the plate upwardly into the linear path to restrict the passage of, and hold, the bolt carrier group towards the rearward end of the firearm. This restriction of movement inhibits automated recoiling responses from the bolt carrier group, consequently creating a single-shot mode by disabling automated firing sequence of the firearm. Applying force to a lever that forms in the bolt catch overcomes the spring bias to displace the plate out of the linear path followed by the bolt carrier.

摘要: In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a blast-resistant armored land vehicle. Wheels or tracks may be attached to the vehicle by an independent suspension. The vehicle may include a body comprised of sheet materials, the body having a longitudinal centerline, an upper portion including opposite side portions, a first bottom portion defining a V, with the apex of the V substantially parallel to the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle and extending along a portion of the vehicle, and a second bottom portion defining a V, with the apex of the V substantially parallel to the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle and extending along another portion of the vehicle. The first bottom portion further includes an energy-absorbing member extending longitudinally within an interior of the first bottom portion. The energy-absorbing member may be on the inside of the apex of the V and be held in position during the blast by its own inertia. The vehicle may also include a spine member having a V shaped cross section and extending along the entire length of the vehicle. All or a portion of the engine, transmission, and drive train assembly may be within the spine member. A vehicle not having a second bottom portion may be retrofitted with the second bottom portion by way of a kit.

摘要: Method, system and computer program product for comparing or measuring information content in at least one data stream including one or more data segments is provided. In at least one embodiment of the invention, information leak capacity in network traffic is quantified. Instead of trying to detect the presence of sensitive data—an impossible task in the general case—one goal of the method, system and computer program product is to measure and constrain its maximum volume. Most network traffic is repeated or determined by external information, such as protocol specifications or messages sent by a server. By filtering this data, one can isolate and quantify true information flowing from a computer. Measurement algorithms for the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), the main protocol for web browsing are provided. When applied to real web browsing traffic, the algorithms were able to discount 98.5% of measured bytes and effectively isolate information leaks.

摘要: Inorganic fiber production burner apparatus and methods of use are disclosed. One burner includes a refractory block adapted to be in fluid connection with sources of primary oxidant and fuel, the refractory block having a fuel and primary oxidant entrance end and a flame exit end, the flame exit end having a substantially rectangular flame exit having a width greater than its height, the refractory block defining a combustion chamber and a second chamber fluidly connecting the combustion chamber and the flame exit end; and an oxygen manifold fluidly connected to the combustion chamber and adapted to route oxygen to the combustion chamber through a plurality of passages through the refractory block. This abstract allows a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the disclosure. It will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims. 37 CFR 1.72(b).
