摘要: According to one embodiment, a dynamic parameter server is provided in an ADV to update parameters of an autonomous driving system (ADS) of the ADV in real time without requiring the reboot of the ADS. The dynamic parameter server can obtain new parameters from a configuration file created by users based on their experiences and expectations. Each new parameter is mapped to certain physical conditions. When the ADV encounters the physical conditions mapped to a particular parameter, the dynamic parameter server can broadcast the new parameters to the ADS, which can use the new parameters to control the ADV. The physical conditions can be used as selection factors for the dynamic parameter to determine which ADS parameter to update.

摘要: According to various embodiments, systems, methods, and media for evaluating an open space planner in an autonomous vehicle are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary method includes receiving, at a profiling application, a record file recorded by the ADV while driving in an open space using the open space planner, and a configuration file specifying parameters of the ADV; extracting planning messages and prediction messages from the record file, each extracted message being associated with the open space planner. The method further includes generating features from the planning message and the prediction messages in view of the specified parameters of the ADV; and calculating statistical metrics from the features. The statistical metrics are then provided to an automatic tuning framework for tuning the open space planner.

摘要: Deep neural networks (DNN) model quantization may be used to reduce storage and computation burdens by decreasing the bit width. Presented herein are novel cursor-based adaptive quantization embodiments. In embodiments, a multiple bits quantization mechanism is formulated as a differentiable architecture search (DAS) process with a continuous cursor that represents a possible quantization bit. In embodiments, the cursor-based DAS adaptively searches for a quantization bit for each layer. The DAS process may be accelerated via an alternative approximate optimization process, which is designed for mixed quantization scheme of a DNN model. In embodiments, a new loss function is used in the search process to simultaneously optimize accuracy and parameter size of the model. In a quantization step, the closest two integers to the cursor may be adopted as the bits to quantize the DNN together to reduce the quantization noise and avoid the local convergence problem.

摘要: Described herein are embodiments of a framework named decomposable variational autoencoder (DecVAE) to disentangle syntax and semantics by using total correlation penalties of Kullback-Leibler (KL) divergences. KL divergence term of the original VAE is decomposed such that the hidden variables generated may be separated in a clear-cut and interpretable way. Embodiments of DecVAE models are evaluated on various semantic similarity and syntactic similarity datasets. Experimental results show that embodiments of DecVAE models achieve state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance in disentanglement between syntactic and semantic representations.

摘要: A connector assembly may include a distribution frame having an adjusting channel; and one or more distribution modules disposed and slidably moveable along the adjusting channel. When the guiding element contacts with the server chassis, the guiding element causes the corresponding distribution module to move slightly to align the fluid blind mate connector with a server connector of the server chassis, such that the fluid blind mate connector connects with the server connector to distribute the cooling liquid to the server chassis.

摘要: A long-distance lane change planning of an ADV is performed. A driving environment is perceived based on sensor data obtained from a plurality of sensors mounted on an ADV, including obtaining information of one or more obstacles on an adjacent lane. In response to a request to make a lane change from a current lane on which the ADV is driving to the adjacent lane, an S-V map is generated based on the information of the one or more obstacles. Each point on the S-V map represents a state of the ADV including a distance and a speed of the ADV. A trajectory of the ADV is generated using dynamic programming based on the S-V map. The ADV is controlled to drive autonomously according to the trajectory to make the lane change to the adjacent lane and avoid the one or more obstacles.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for managing coolant in data centers are disclosed. Coolant may be used in data centers to regulate the temperatures of computing devices. The disclosed methods and system may provide for containment of vapor and condensation of the vapor into coolant. The coolant may be used as part of a two phase cooling system to cool the computing devices. The vapor may be generated when the coolant removes heat from computing devices during operation while at least partially submerged in the coolant. A mobile condenser is used for condensing the vapor within the containment.
