    摘要: A hydraulic lift actuator for adjusting the height of a vehicle includes: a top mount plate configured for attachment to a chassis element; a hydraulic cylinder having a tubular wall and an end cap, together defining an interior chamber; a piston rod extending axially into the interior chamber; a piston assembly connected to the piston rod and disposed within the interior chamber, wherein the piston assembly divides the interior chamber into an upper chamber and a lower chamber, the lower chamber extending between the piston assembly and the end cap; and a spring seat rigidly connected to the hydraulic cylinder and configured to engage an upper end of a coil spring, wherein the spring seat and the hydraulic cylinder are linearly translatable relative to the piston rod between a retracted position adjacent to the top mount plate and an extended position spaced apart from the top mount plate.

    摘要: A damper assembly for a suspension system of an associated vehicle. The damper assembly comprises a cylindrical tube extending along an axis and defining a chamber. A piston is located in the chamber and is moveable along the axis in a compression direction and a rebound direction. The piston includes a piston rod extending from a first end to a piston head. A rebound stop is located on the piston rod between the first end and the piston head. A hydraulic rebound stop (“HRS”) piston is located in a HRS chamber. A rebound spring biasing the HRS piston towards the adaptor plate in the HRS chamber. The piston rod is slideably received within the HRS piston in the rebound direction until the rebound stop contacts the rebound head and causes the rebound spring to compress.

The compression stop assembly includes an insert defining an inner chamber, and a sleeve displaceable along with the main piston assembly and configured to be slidably introduced inside the inner chamber. The sleeve has a diameter lower than the diameter of the main tube defining a first external flow channel between the sleeve and the main tube; the sleeve is attached to the piston assembly by a spring disposed within the sleeve; and the insert is provided with a plurality of axially-spaced holes and has an annular flange adjoining the inner wall of the main tube and separating the compression chamber from a second external flow channel between the radially external outlets of the holes and the base valve assembly.

    摘要: An air management system including at least one air spring and a compressor. The compressor defines a compartment having an inlet and an outlet. A reservoir is fluidly connected to the air spring and the compressor. A piston is moveable in the compartment and is reciprocally moveable in a compression stroke and an extension stroke in response to actuation of the motor in order to build-up air pressure at the outlet. The piston defines at least one passage extending between the extension chamber and the compression chamber, and at least one check valve positioned in the at least one passage such that air pressure in the compression chamber biases the piston toward the extension chamber to reduce a torque load on the motor during movement of the piston.

    摘要: A damper housing disposed on a center axis includes an extended mains section and a narrowed end section. The narrowed end section has a second predetermined wall thickness less than the first predetermined wall thickness of the extended main section. An intermediate conical section, connecting the narrowed end section and the extended main section, has an intermediate conical section wall thickness equal to the second predetermined wall thickness at an internal inclination angle relative to the center axis. A method for manufacturing the damper housing using a preformed tube, a first broaching die, a calibrating mandrel, and a swaging die is performed by compressing the preformed tube between the first broaching die and the narrowed head of the calibrating mandrel and compressing the preformed tube between the swaging die and the intermediary section of the calibrating mandrel to form the narrowed end section and the intermediate conical section, respectively.
