    摘要: An ultraviolet ray and infrared ray-absorbing glass composition includes the following basic glass components (weight ratio): 60% to 75% of SiO2, 8% to 20% of Na2O, 3% to 12% of CaO, 0.1% to 5% of Al2O3, 2% to 5% of MgO, 0.02% to 7% of K2O, 0.1% to 5% of BaO, 0.01% to 0.4% of SO3 and the following ultraviolet ray and infrared ray-absorbing glass main body coloring and coordinating part: 0.22% to 1.35% of Fe2O3, 0.001% to 0.8% of ZrO2+HfO2, 0% to 0.5% of Cl, 0% to 2% of B2O3, 0.01% to 0.8% of TiO2, 0.001% to 0.06% of CuO, 0% to 2.0% of Br, 0% to 0.02% of MnO, 0% to 2.0% of F, 0.001% to 0.5% of SrO, and 0.005% to 2.2% of CeO2. The reduction oxidation ratio of Fe2O3 in the glass composition is 0.4 to 0.8.

    摘要: A regioselective synthesis of an azacoronene fused with two peripheral thiophene groups has been realized through a concise synthetic route. The resulting thienoazacoronene (TAC) derivatives show high degree of self-organization in solution, in single crystals, in the bulk, and in spuncast thin films. Spuncast thin film field-effect transistors of the TACs exhibited mobilities up to 0.028 cm2V−1 S−1, which is among the top field effect mobilities for solution processed discotic materials. Organic photovoltaic devices using TAC-containing conjugated polymers as the donor material exhibited a high open-circuit voltage of 0.89 V, which was ascribable to TAC's low-lying highest occupied molecular orbital energy level.

    摘要: Improved methods, devices, compositions, and systems are provided for concealing information on articles in commerce, such as pharmaceuticals, to improve detection of counterfeits. Embodiments are provided where Moiré patterns on article surfaces are detectable using a revealing layer only when the surfaces are illuminated at or near particular angles. Embodiments incorporating revealing layers into detection systems, such as microscopes, are also provided. A method comprising: providing at least one pharmaceutical composition which comprises at least one surface which comprises at least one area which is adapted to provide a Moiré base layer; illuminating the area at an angle; imaging the illuminated area with a Moiré revealing layer to generate a Moiré pattern. Such embodiments provide an additional layer of security over previous methods of detecting counterfeit articles.
