摘要: A flat blade windshield wiper blade (12) has a naturally elongated curve with a delicate wiper element (16) to be protected during shipping and display for retail sales purposes. A protective package (12) surrounds the wiper (12). The package (12) is made from a single piece of sheet stock and includes a flexible, outwardly bowed front panel (24), a back panel (26), and opposing left (30) and right (28) side panels adjoining respective sides of the front (24) and back (26) panels. Top (32) and bottom (34) end flaps extend between the front (24) and back (26) panels for forcing the front (24) panel to form in a generally semi-cylindrical configuration bowed outwardly relative to the back panel (26). The wiper (12) is disposed in a shipping condition in the package (12), with a connector (22) feature of the wiper (12) bearing in direct pressing contact with the bowed front panel (24). The wiper element (16) is completely isolated from contacting the package (12) by wedging other portions of the wiper (12) in three discrete regions of direct contact against the bowed front panel (24) and three discrete regions of direct contact against the back panel (26).

摘要: A device for providing an indication of moisture present in skin of a user includes a device body including a skin contact portion. A sensor circuit is located in the device body. The sensor circuit is configured to produce an output signal having a signal value that corresponds to moisture level in the skin with the skin contact portion in contact with the skin at a skin measurement location. A controller is in communication with the sensor circuit and is configured to determine the signal value of the output signal. The controller stores a first signal value in memory corresponding to a first output signal produced with the skin contact portion in contact with the skin of the user at a first skin measurement location. The controller stores a second signal value in memory corresponding to a second output signal generated with the contact portion in contact with the skin of the user at a second skin measurement location different from the first skin measurement location. The first and second signal values are used to indicate moisture present in the skin of the user at the second skin measurement location.

摘要: A clip for maintaining a first side rail of a first ladder adjacent to a second side rail of a second ladder which is in series with the first side rail. The clip includes a first portion connected to a support element and a second portion connected to the support element. The first portion, second portion and support element are one continuous piece. The first portion defines a hooking engagement with the first side rail and the second portion defines a receiving engagement with the second side rail. The first and second portion opening from opposite sides of the support element, respectively, which conform to the portion of the respective side rail that it receives for removably and frictionally holding the respective side rails in a self-gripping and form-fitting manner such that the side rails are maintained adjacent and in series to each other so that no damage is possible to the ladders by relative movement of the side rails under dynamic conditions brought about by motion during transportation. A method for securely transporting a first ladder which defines a first plane for climbing and at least a second ladder which defines a second plane for climbing.

摘要: A method for forming a semiconductor device (10) includes forming an organic anti-reflective coating (OARC) layer (18) over the semiconductor device (10). A tetra-ethyl-ortho-silicate (TEOS) layer (20) is formed over the OARC layer (18). The TEOS layer (20) is exposed to oxygen-based plasma at a temperature of at most about 300 degrees Celsius. In an alternative embodiment, the TEOS layer (20) is first exposed to a nitrogen-based plasma before being exposed to the oxygen-based plasma. A photoresist layer (22) is formed over the TEOS layer (20) and patterned. By applying oxygen based plasma and nitrogen based plasma to the TEOS layer (20) before applying photoresist, pattern defects are reduced.
