According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for converting a two-dimensional image to a three-dimensional image by an image conversion device can include: receiving and setting overall depth information for an original image; classifying the original image into partial objects and setting three-dimensional information for each of the partial objects; generating a first image by moving the original image by use of the three-dimensional information; receiving and setting a zero point for the original image; generating a second image by moving the original image by use of the zero point; and generating a three-dimensional image by combining the first image and the second image. Accordingly, a still image can be converted to a three-dimensional image.

    摘要: Provided are an imaging method for use with a variable coded aperture filter and an imaging apparatus using the imaging method. The variable coded aperture filter includes a plurality of regulated patterns which may be properly selected, and an image obtained via a certain pattern of the variable coded aperture filter may be processed by a deconvolution method related to the certain pattern. The patterns in the variable coded aperture filter have different aperture degrees from each other so as to adjust an exposure amount, and accordingly, a subject which is extremely bright or extremely dark may be photographed and depth information and focus information may be obtained from the photographed image. Therefore, images of high image quality may be obtained in a large range of brightness variation.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for variable length coding are provided. The apparatus for variable length coding includes a central processing unit which has a software module programmed in advance for variable length coding in a predetermined method, performs variable length coding of input symbol data by using the software module, and generates variable length code information. The apparatus further includes a bitstream processor which is a separate processor receiving the variable length code information from the central processing unit and generating a bitstream. According to the apparatus and method, modification or addition of a VLC table can be more easily performed through downloading software such that new video data coding standards can be easily supported. Also, by implementing the bitstream processor as a separate dedicated processor and thus implementing variable length coding as a software module, load to the central processing unit is reduced and high speed processing is enabled.

    摘要: Provided are an apparatus and method for stably correcting handshake that occurs during a camera panning situation. In the method, movement information is accumulated by a predetermined unit for a predetermined period of time. A regression model is matched to the accumulated movement information so as to determine a situation as one of a panning mode and a handshake mode. Switching is performed between the handshake mode and the panning mode according to the size of a matching factor generated by the matched regression model. Handshake is corrected on the basis of a handshake correcting amount determined according to one of the handshake mode and the panning mode.
