Abstract: A punched tape-controlled device for automatically feeding, cutting to predetermined length, stripping the insulation and severing and loosening the jacket of three-wire jacketed cable. Pneumatically controlled opposed pairs of cutting blades simultaneously sever the cable at a first location, sever the jacket only at second and third points about 5 1/2 inches on each side of the first location and sever the insulation at fourth and fifth points about 1/2 inch on each side of the first location. The cable portions lying on the opposite sides of the second and third points from the first point are then firmly gripped by a pneumatically and externally pressurized tube surrounding such cable portions and are each indexed away from the first point while the severed jacket portions are held in place by the extended cutting blades, thereby breaking loose and partially stripping the severed jacket portions.

Abstract: A molded plastic electrical outlet box has upper and lower mounting bosses which engage front and rear faces of the wall panel opening in which the box is installed, thereby temporarily but securely retaining the box in the wall opening. The same pair of screws which subsequently fix an electrical unit within the box also permanently and securely clamp the mounting bosses to the wall panel. Transverse nail guiding passages provide a means for additionally nailing the box to a stud if required by local building codes.

Abstract: In an apparatus for performing various operations on stock material, such as advancing, feeding, measuring, cutting and the like, all under the control of a program on a punched tape, an improved punched tape control system wherein the sprocket holes, which are utilized for advancing the punched tape, are also utilized to convey control information. Abstract: A door latch set consists of two knob-door plate sub-assemblies and a latch assembly, all of which can be assembled together and retained within the door without the need for any supplementary non-integral fastening or connecting elements.
