摘要: The present disclosure provides an acoustic metamaterial-based muffler for exhaust noise reduction, including an exhaust flow body that is provided with an inlet through which exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine flows in on one side, and an outlet through which the exhaust gas flows out on the other side, and a flow passage for guiding a movement of the exhaust gas therein; and a plurality of noise reduction units that are sequentially disposed along a discharge direction of the exhaust gas inside the exhaust flow body to reduce noise in a specific frequency band in exhaust noise of the exhaust gas caused by the movement of the exhaust gas on the inside of the exhaust flow body.

摘要: An embodiment of the present invention provides a stretchable substrate allowing various pitch control for a device thereon, and a method of controlling a device spacing using the same. Here, the stretchable substrate includes a cell and an electrode wiring. The cell is divided by cutting lines to form a plurality of cells. The electrode wiring is continuously provided on the plurality of cells not to cross the cutting line. A cell is connected to a neighboring cell by a connection portion in which a cutting line is not formed, and when a tensile force is applied, the cell is hinge-rotated around the connection portion, and the electrode wiring maintains a continuous state even when the cell is hinged.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a meta-muffler for reducing broadband noise. The meta-muffler includes: a flow pipe through which a fluid flows; an outer barrel disposed outside the flow pipe to be spaced apart from the flow pipe; and multiple metastructures arranged in a flow direction of the fluid and each comprising an opening opened parallel to the flow direction of the fluid, a resonance chamber disposed between the flow pipe and the outer barrel and communicating with the flow pipe through the opening, and a neck adjustment member extending from the outer barrel toward the flow pipe to be spaced apart from the opening in the flow direction of the fluid. The meta-muffler can increase transmission loss of noise flowing through the flow pipe through maximization of energy loss of sound waves entering the resonance chamber of the metastructure and can effectively attenuate noise over a wide band ranging from low frequencies to high frequencies.

摘要: An ultrasonic transducer employing a meta slab includes a piezoelectric body configured to generate elastic waves; a meta slab connected to the piezoelectric body and configured to induce elastic wave mode conversion resonance with respect to the elastic waves incident on the meta slab; and a wedge connected to the meta slab, attached to an external surface of a pipe, and configured to transmit the elastic waves having passed through the meta slab to the pipe. The meta slab includes an anisotropic medium and a thickness of the meta slab satisfies the equation as follows: d=m·nFS·λFS/4, d=m·nSS·λSS/4, nSS/2−nFS/2=odd. Thus, highly-efficient flow velocity measurement is possible.

摘要: A nanomaterial ribbon patterning method includes: forming a first nanomaterial layer having a first threshold strain on an upper surface of a substrate; forming a second nanomaterial layer on an upper surface of the first nanomaterial layer; forming a thin layer having a second threshold strain smaller than the first threshold strain on an upper surface of the second nanomaterial layer; generating plural cracks on the thin layer and the second nanomaterial layer by applying tensile force to the substrate; placing a mask on an upper surface of the thin layer; removing the mask and peeling off the sacrificial layer on the upper surface of the thin layer; and removing the sacrificial layer to form a nanomaterial ribbon pattern.
