    摘要: A reusable single-piece tamper-evident cover for protecting a drinking area of a beverage can before and after removal of the cover from the can. The cover includes: a cover top, a clasp ring positioned below and contiguous with the cover top, and a skirt being positioned below and contiguous with the ring. The ring includes at least one tamper-evident seal that includes two tear lines. The tear lines do not extend to the inner cover surface. Tearing along the tear lines results in tampering the seal, and does not tear the inner cover surface. An entirety of the inner cover surface is able to be continuous when the skirt extends along an entirety of the ring, as well as after removal of the cover from the can.

    摘要: An on-line method of facilitating e-commerce sales of circular adornments (such as watches, bracelets, etc.) through the provision of selectable representations of such an adornment in its primary dimensions is provided. Such representations are generated in relation to specific adornment structures and are provided, in terms of three-dimensional polymer printed articles. A purchaser is allowed to select a specific adornment from an on-line source, and print a single part or multiple parts thereof in the form of a reliable representation of the subject article. The purchaser may then place the representation on his or her wrist, ankle, arm, etc., in order to gauge and assess the look, placement, and size thereof, in accordance with his or her own tastes and needs. Such an on-line system allows for reductions in returns and greater reliability in terms of actual purchases up front. The actual generated printed representations are encompassed herein as well.

    摘要: Various embodiments of the present application are directed towards systems and methods for hybrid blockchain control. According to some embodiments a method for hybrid blockchain control, an update to a distributed blockchain is received from a blockchain system. The blockchain system includes multiple nodes individually storing copies of the distributed blockchain and individually updating the copies by a consensus process. A determination is made as to whether the distributed blockchain has been fraudulently modified based on the received update. In response to determining the distributed blockchain has been fraudulently modified: 1) a corrective block is disseminated to the blockchain system to trigger the consensus process on the nodes; and 2) a predefined override in the consensus process is invoked to update the copies of the distributed blockchain in a manner that bypasses an illegitimate block. Further, the predefined override is invoked while the consensus process processes the corrective block.

    摘要: A computer system and method for photo subscription using biometric identification is provided. A photo match request is received that identifies a subscriber of a plurality of subscribers and that selects one or more biometric signatures of at least one biometric signatures associated with the identified subscriber. Photo biometric data associated with one or more photographs inputted by at least one photo provider system is accessed. At least one biometric signature selected by the photo match request is accessed. A score is generated for each of the photos, directed to each selected biometric signature, which is based on a level of probability that the photo biometric data associated with the photo is a match for the selected biometric signature. The identification of a photo having a score of at least a first predetermined number is then outputted to the at least one selected destination. The photo biometric data for each photo having a score for a selected biometric signature of at least a second predetermined number is added to the selected biometric signature.
