Provided is a system and method for providing vehicle parking information using a navigation satellite. The system includes: a monitoring unit for photographing an image of a vehicle parking space and transmitting the image to a parking space checking unit; the parking space checking unit for checking a vacant parking space based on the transmitted vehicle parking space image and transmitting vacant parking space acquisition information to a location information computing unit; and the location information computing unit for creating and transmitting location information of the vacant parking space, which is vehicle parking information, to a navigation satellite based on own location information acquired based on navigation information transmitted from an external navigation satellite and the transmitted vacant parking space acquisition information.
Abstract:
An apparatus for signal acquisition of a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver may downsample digitalized satellite signals based on a code resolution, correlate the downsampled satellite signals and oversampled pseudo-random noise (PRN) codes using a block unit based on a size of a matching filter, and may perform FFT of a value output as a correlation result by employing, as M points, a number of blocks used for the matching filter. Also, the signal acquisition apparatus may estimate a coarse Doppler and a code phase of the satellite signals by comparing a power value, calculated based on the M-point fast Fourier transformed value, with a threshold value, and may estimate a fine Doppler using zero-padding based FFT when the satellite signals are successfully acquired.

Provided are an apparatus and method for providing position information, and a user terminal and method for outputting position information. The apparatus for providing position information includes a first position information calculator configured to calculate first position information of mobile object using at least three signals received from at least three signal transmission devices, a second position information calculator configured to calculate second position information of the mobile object by mapping the calculated first position information of the mobile object to information on the mobile object's surroundings, and a position information transmitter configured to transmit the calculated second position information of the mobile object to a terminal.

Provided is a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver including: an RF signal processor to receive navigation signals; a signal level measurement unit to measure a signal level of each navigation signal; a signal processor to determine whether the navigation signal is a jamming signal or a normal signal based on the signal level, to perform quantization on the navigation signal determined as a jamming signal at a higher ratio than that subject to a normal signal to generate a digital signal, and to signal-process the digital signal; a compensator to identify a satellite ID of the navigation signal according to the result of the signal processing, and to create compensation information about the navigation signal according to the satellite ID; a controller to control the signal processor and the compensator; and a navigation solution processor to calculate a navigation solution of the navigation signal based on the compensation information.

A system for executing diagnosis of vehicle performance using satellite telemetry technology includes a diagnostic unit for compiling telemetry data, transmitted in real-time, of an engine and various parts of a vehicle, comparing the telemetry data with specific values of the engine and various parts to determine if there are any abnormalities in vehicle performance, and monitoring diagnostic results of vehicle performance; and a communications unit for performing communications in real-time through a network with an external user requesting vehicle performance diagnostic results of the diagnostic unit. Accordingly, the driver or external user may easily determine if there are abnormalities in vehicle performance, take steps to cope with vehicle malfunctions before they occur, and know the precise location of any abnormal areas of vehicle performance.
