摘要： A method for generating multiple windows frames, an electronic device thereof, and a computer program product using the method are provided. In the present method, first, a touch trajectory generated by continuously touching a touch panel of the electronic device is detected, wherein the center of the touch panel is a display area, and a non-display area surrounds the display area. Then, whether the touch trajectory is started from one side of the non-display area and passed through the display area to be extended to another side of the non-display area is determined. If so, the display area is split according to the touch trajectory to display at least two windows frames. As a result, an intuitional and convenient method for generating multiple windows frames in the display area is provided, and the operation of the electronic device is made very convenient.

摘要： A handheld electronic device includes first, second and third bodies, a rod, and an elevating mechanism disposed on the first body. The rod has a first end, a second end, and a pivot portion pivotably mounted to the first body. The second body is slidably disposed on the first body and coupled to the first end. The second body is stacked between the first body and the third body. The third body is slidably disposed on the elevating mechanism and coupled to the rod. When the third body moves relative to the first body, the second body is driven by the first rod to move relative to the first body in an opposite direction, such that the second body is exposed out of the third body and the third body is descended by the elevating mechanism to move toward the first body.

The second body having a first rack is slidably coupled with the first body. The third body having a second rack is slidably coupled with the pivot member. The gear set is disposed on the first body and coupled with the first rack and the second rack. When the third body shifts a first distance relative to the first body along a first operating direction and drives the gear set, the second body is driven to shift with respect to the first body along a second operating direction opposite to the first operating direction and exposed by the third body. After the second body is exposed by the third body, the third body is tilted with respect to the first body.

The electronic device displays one of the pages as a current page on the display so that the user interface or the web page of the current page is accessible to a user of the electronic device. In addition, the electronic device senses movement and/or pressure caused by the user on the touch sensor and interprets the movement and/or the pressure as an operating action of the user on the virtual book.
